沙際春歸，綠窗猶唱留春住。
問春何處，花落鶯無語。
渺渺吟懷，漠漠煙中樹。
西樓暮，一簾疏雨，夢裏尋春去。

Spring slippeth off the sandy shore,
My green-rimmed panes lament — feeling blue.
“Where art thou, mayst thou stay?” — a grieving coo,
Petals and warblers fall in silent rue.
My chant flieth from my heart’s door
Into the brume-concealed woods — a dusky view,
Alone, the west chamber weepeth in sunset’s hue.
Drizzle at the window plaiteth its queue,
Woe is me — only in dream spring may re-shew.
