韋小寶(陳小春)刁鑽聰敏，自小隨母居揚州妓院，因偶然知悉宮中秘密，被迫冒充小太監留在宮中。後助少年皇帝康熙(馬浚偉)消滅奸臣成莫逆之交。寶更誤打誤撞得天地會總舵主暗中收為弟子，要他伺機剌殺康，令寶感左右為難。 寶無意得悉神龍教派人假扮太後潛服宮中十多年，企圖盜取大清命脈藏寶圖，真太後則被囚禁，康遂聯合寶，幾經艱險，救出太後。另一方麵，寶驚悉老皇帝順治仍健在，往拜見途中，巧遇少女阿珂(梁小冰)，神魂顛倒。寶施妙計令康父子團聚，又挑撥神龍教人自相殘殺，再建一功。 寶衣錦還鄉，重遇阿珂，輾轉更得七女同時下嫁，盡享齊人之福。不久，江山大統，康命寶消滅天地會，寶始知康早洞悉自己的秘密……
