向法律專業人士請教關於搬走租戶用我們地址申請公司，銀行支票

房子在我們自住之前出租一段時間，現發現租戶在已經搬離我家後仍然用我們地址申請公司，銀行支票。政府的文件標明公司的時間。

我目前不知道租戶住哪裏，我們沒有聯係。我是否要告訴政府他不住在這裏，以後有什麽事情與我們無關。

我主要是怕以後有什麽麻煩。請教專業人士指點。非常感謝每個回複！
