夜過西湖 – （宋）陳起

 

鵲巢猶掛三更月，漁板驚回一片鷗。

吟得詩成無筆寫，蘸他春水畫船頭。

 

Night Boating on West Lake by Chen Qi

 

A magpie’s nest looks hanging on the midnight moon,

Fishermen's poles startle a flock of water birds.

No brush in hand, albeit a verse in heart I croon,

Dipping the water, on the bow I draw my words.
