美國加利福尼亞州聖迭戈市政府近日表示，願向今年1月遭警察槍擊身亡的一名16歲青少年的家屬支付高達3000萬美元的和解賠償金。

2025年1月28日，16歲的青少年科諾亞·威爾遜在當地一個火車站內遭人持槍威脅後逃跑，在逃跑途中，威爾遜差點撞上正在附近的警員戈爾德。戈爾德在未確認對方身份且未發出警告的情況下開槍，導致威爾遜中槍後不治身亡。

據了解，威爾遜並未對戈爾德造成任何威脅，戈爾德未發出警告直接開槍的做法也違反了警察的常規操作守則。
