美國總統川普（Donald Trump）3月4日前往眾議院發表上任後的首個國會演說（congress address），有媒體指這場長達100分鍾的演說是史上“最長氣”的國會演說，打破了前總統克林頓（Bill Clinton）之前保持的紀錄（88分鍾）。在演說開始前，副總統萬斯（JD Vance）與眾議院議長約翰遜（Mike Johnson）未關麥的對話熱傳，其中萬斯被聽到“質疑”川普如何能講足90分鍾。

副總統萬斯在川普發表演說前，忘記關掉麵前的麥克風，被錄到他與眾議院議長約翰遜的對話，他對川普能夠發表90分鍾的精彩演說存疑：

據英國《獨立報》報道，副總統萬斯與眾議院議長（Michael Johnson）約翰遜在川普發表演說前，站在講台上聊天，期間忘記關掉眼前的麥克風導致對話流出。

萬斯表示：“順便講一句，我認為演說會很精彩，但我不知道你（川普）要如何在90分鍾的時長做到這一點的。”（By the way, I think the speech is going to be great... but I don't know how you do this for 90 minutes）

約翰遜回應：最痛苦的是拜登的演說，當時的演說簡直就是一場愚蠢的競選演說。（The hardest thing was doing it during Biden, when the speech was a stupid campaign speech）。

據《美國會山報》（The Hill）報道，川普這次國會演說長達1小時40分鍾，打破了由前總統克林頓2000年發表國情谘文（State of the Union address）長1小時28分鍾的紀錄。報道提到美國總統項目（The American Presidency Project）自1964年起就總統發言紀錄時長。
