新西蘭22歲女大生葛蕾斯(Grace Blundell)響應“解放乳頭運動”（Free the Nipple campaign），近日號召同好在當地海灘解放，挺身支持該理念，不料大批觀光客卻以“有色眼光”駐足拍照，讓她和同伴十分困擾。
據《每日郵報》報導，該活動去年12月在奧克蘭知名景點傳教灣（Mission Bay）舉行。葛蕾斯表示，此活動希望喚起女性對身體的自主權，能不受外界異樣眼光窺視，“我不希望被性別束縛，被他人說三道四，是時候該改變了”，並強調自己在海灘上脫掉上衣時，感到渾身充滿力量。
然而活動中卻遭到許多觀光客圍觀、指指點點，讓她感到不舒服，“某些人的確以情色眼光看待我們，而不是了解背後的理念”，更有人質問“怎麽不去天體海灘（Nude Beach），要在這邊露胸？”，她怒嗆對方該去問旁邊半裸的男遊客。
葛蕾斯說，該理念要大眾接受，似乎還有一段很長的路要走。她表示不會反擊那些看笑話的遊客，因為此舉違反理念，她仍正向看待活動的意義，並樂觀地說，將持續宣導理念，要讓社會廣為接受女性“解放乳頭”的意義。
“解放乳頭”是電影製作人妮娜·伊斯科於2013年發起的社會運動，以追求性別平等為訴求。支持者認為傳統社會對男性和女性的胸部及乳頭存在雙重標準，人們允許男性在公開場合裸露胸部及乳頭，但卻不認同女性也這麽做，以致女性遭到差別待遇，他們希望能打破這種錯誤觀念。

Women were not alone in their protest, men passionate about the cause also joined in
While the protesters fought for a serious issue, they also had fun, enjoying a day at the beach
