9月23日中午11：30左右，在體育北街，偶遇臨汾電視台記者配合臨汾市交警支隊北城大隊女子中隊兩位女民警，對該街道違法停放的機動車輛進行專項整治，期間，一輛車牌號為晉LX5600的奇瑞轎車違法停放在街道上，嚴重影響交通，當即，女民警上前告知司機，並現場為其講解違法停車的危害性，不料，女司機毫不理睬，並且出言不遜，立即將車門反鎖，加油門多次衝撞女交警，{交警膝蓋被撞破}見此情景，記者打開攝像機拍攝，此時，女司機突然打開車門，破口大罵，直奔記者而來，又是辱罵又是搶奪攝像機，對記者拳打腳踢，交警看到女司機如此無理，立即上前進行勸阻，然而，女司機又向交警動起手來，於此同時，女司機還打電話搬救兵，幾分鍾後，一名聲稱是女司機丈夫的男子趕到現場，夫妻倆人合夥搶奪記者攝像機，並反複撕扯記者的衣服，記者多次試圖勸說夫妻兩人，希望其不要衝動，沒想到，該男子大打出手，辱罵記者、自始至終記者一再好言相勸，從未還手，女司機與其丈夫的惡劣行為令現場圍觀群眾大為不滿，群眾們紛紛要求報警，記者撥打了110，很快，解放路派出所的民警趕到現場，看到民警前來，女司機的丈夫更是火冒三丈，當著執法民警的麵，用腳狠踹記者，當場被民警製止，並強行帶回了派出所。
事後據了解，鬧事的夫妻二人聲稱自己很有背景後台，口出狂言說：“誰也拿他們沒辦法。”
