美國電視最高榮譽“艾美獎”於9月21日揭曉，在劇情類最佳影集獎項中，AMC電視台《廣告狂人》再度連莊，奪得劇情類最佳影集，本劇賽前一致看好，得獎並不令人意外。
劇情類最佳女演員部份，《金權遊戲》葛倫克倫蘿斯女強人氣派的精湛演出再度奪得戲劇類影集最佳女主角。男主角則是在《Breaking Bad》中演出身患絕症，豁出生命製毒販毒的高中老師，同樣再次拿下最佳男主角。
而HBO電視台《Grey Garden》則在主要獎項中勇奪迷你影集類的最佳女主角、男配角及最佳電視電影大獎。相關第61屆艾美獎主要獎項得獎名單如下：
