林青霞是靚女的典範，清麗脫俗，自然健康。

徐克曾說，林青霞這樣的美人50年才出一個。

在台灣影壇，曾有一顆燦爛的紅星，她的名字等同於浪漫美麗與名氣，她就是林青霞。在20年輝煌的演藝生涯中，林青霞一直是台灣最著名的女明星之一，她曾拍攝過100多部愛情、武打和喜劇片。特別是在文藝片中，林青霞常扮演飄逸動人、清秀淡雅的純情少女，她那種清純的扮相在整個70年代深受港台和東南亞觀眾的喜愛。

　　在70年代，台灣最賣座的電影就是羅曼蒂克的愛情故事。而天蠍座的林青霞以驚人的美麗和略帶憂鬱神秘的演藝風格成為了那個時代大家夢寐以求的女孩。於是，出道沒多久的她便有了“港台第一美人”之譽。而水星與海王星相合又使得她能帶給人夢幻般的清純迷情，因此很多人認為她是不食人間煙火的超凡脫俗的仙女。甚至於大俠金庸也說：“青霞的美是無人可與之匹敵的。”

　　雖然“美女林青霞”、“清純脫俗”是對她最好的讚譽。但是時間一長，讚譽也往往起到了毀譽的作用，八十年代有人說青霞戲路難以開拓，是憑長相贏得票房的。但緊接著，徐克在他導演的《東方不敗》中請青霞出任男角，使青霞一鳴驚人。誰也沒有料到，青霞女扮男裝，竟是那麽英俊灑脫，其實木星合天王的林青霞原本就可以創造出不平凡的機會與成功，尤其是她的水星與天王相刑，因此林青霞塑造出的男性形象即淒迷浪漫，又爽氣迷蒙而且還兼具誘惑的異樣美感。台灣《聯合報》說她：“富有女神色彩，是一個不像男人的男人，一個喜歡男人的男人，一個跑到異性陣地度假的女人。”

　　時光如梭，盡管時光在她身上已磨損了四十幾個春秋，盡管她早嫁作人婦，但林青霞的風采依然。遙想當年,多少影迷為一睹青霞的豐采而上下奔波。每當青霞的銀幕形象出現，電影院門前便人如潮湧。雖然青霞鳥倦歸巢嫁作商人婦，過著相夫教子的悠閑生活，但金星落入天蠍座的她仍以獨特的氣質在廣大的影迷心中留下了永不磨滅的印象，而傳媒對林青霞的關注也一如既往，香港報刊中經常可以發現她的蹤跡。
