You cannot serve two masters. If I am truly your master, you will desire to please me above all others.  If pleasing people is your goal, you will be enslaved to them. People can be harsh taskmasters when you give them this power over you.

If I am the master of your life, I will also be your first love. You serving me is rooted and grounded in my vast unconditional love for you. The lower you bow down before me, the higher I lift you up into intimate relationship with me. The joy of living in my presence outshines all other pleasures. I want you to reflect my joyous light by living in increasing intimacy with me.

你不能事奉兩個主人。如果我真的是你的主人，你會渴望在所有人之上取悅我。如果取悅他人是你的目標，你將為他們所奴役。當你將權力交給他人時，人們會成為嚴厲的奴役者。

如果我是你生命的主宰，我也將成為你的第一愛。你事奉我是建立在我對你浩瀚且無條件的愛的基礎上。你在我麵前屈膝越低，我就越能將你提升到與我親密的關係中。與我同在的喜樂超越了一切其他的快樂。我希望你通過與我日益親密地生活，反照我的喜樂榮光。
