So I’ve noticed YouTube is deleting lots of comments on this video, both nice and rude. I apologise if your comment gets deleted, please try again! (If it’s nice otherwise don’t lmao)
Thanks for watching!

Another Aussie here and I’ve spent the better part of 20 years living in China. Let’s put it this way. Whatever is shown in Australian media about China is very twisted and skewed. Dare I say - in many instances bordering on blatant lies.

Mate, I'm an Aussie as well, and I went to China a few years ago. You are 100% correct. China is NOT like we've been told back home. People really need to visit China to see the true China. I was pleasantly surprise at how advanced and futuristic China is. I also went to USA. USA does NOT compare to China. I felt safe in China (and I'm a White Aussie male). I did NOT feel safe in USA.

My first trip to China was 17 years ago. A total culture shock. I’ve been brainwashed in the states thru media and government propaganda. Chinese people are the best. They’re so helpful and just plain nice. Almost exact opposite of what I have been coached to believe regarding China.

I have recently come back from my first time to China. I came back realizing that if you haven't been to China, you know nothing about China.

Glad that someone pushed out of Western propaganda and visited China. I am from Indonesia and have been going to China for business or leisure since 2004, every single time I visit, China has grown, there is a new building, a new line on the subway, etc., and it's the safest place I've been to in my travels to about 300 cities in 30 countries.

I've visited China four times and saw different regions. Every time I've visited... I've seen big improvements. I would even be bold enough to say that the major cities in China are now overall cleaner looking than the major cities in the US.For one example, I've visited public parks in Shanghai and was amazed at how clean they look. No litter or graffiti anywhere... even the skateboard rink looks clean. And there are lots of people out there enjoying the parks... but seem to have respect for the facilities there. The greening of the city is very good, and there are many electric cars on the street, which proves that the Chinese government attaches great importance to environmental protection. What impresses me the most is that life is very convenient, a cashless society, the subway system is very new and clean, and the people are very friendly.Other than some culture shock, I feel China is very safe. You can also go out late at night. China's technological level is beyond my imagination. I feel that the future is in China..But In the US, I dare not go out at night, for fear that black people will shoot me.
have fun in China and God bless you.

China isn't our enemy, our enemy is ignorance. Exploring their culture is a way for us to understand what our commonalities are instead of focusing on our differences. This issue won't be resolved overnight but it is actions like this that bring it closer to becoming reality. We share the planet and we need to learn how to do it peacefully as co-citizens.

If you just landed a few days ago in China then be prepared to face massive amount of people everywhere. China is having their Mid Autumn Festival and National Day holiday (10 days). Many Chinese people travel within their country for holiday (China is so big it has region which is in the tropic and region that experiences winter-4seasons). Hence going to China during their national holiday is madness. The crowds will be massive, at a scale you have never seen.

I felt the same when I visited China nearly two decades ago. I was scared to go there even then but had to due to my studies as I was dying for first hand experience. My own Uni and the travel agent told me the same. My destination was ShenZhen, could have easily crossed from HK, but was scared as I was traveling alone, so I transited from Pudong, (hilarious) and the rest is history!!! You are not alone, hope you will enjoy very long stays there. You will be safe at ALL times, even in the middle of the night!!! During warmer days night is different as all the families and pets come out to stay out and enjoy life where we live in heavily locked houses almost all day.

In my experience, you don’t need to be worried about safety in China - I lived there for some time and never felt unsafe at any hour of the day. Petty theft (like cameras, phones) does happen though, like anywhere else.

As a Chinese, I‘m glad to see such a friendly program. Our country is very beautiful and has many shortcomings. Some prejudices are mainly caused by differences in values from Western countries, but I believe that China will get better and better! By the way, I’m in Chongqing. There are mountains and rivers here, and it‘s still the location of Transformers. Welcome to travel!

China is a completely electronic country, everything you need can be found online, China has a complete electronic ecosystem, there are some necessary software such as taxis, food, maps, electronic payment and takeaway software need to be installed in advance, you will find that China is really paradise.

As a Indian I view China much higher than America because of its infra structure and even if some portion of the country may lacks infra but the rapid pace of building is astonishing and the biggest of the reason is that they haven't been Americanised but going smoothly with the Chinese culture . The only thing that divides Indians and Chinese are the border issues, otherwise I think it would be one of the most strongest duo in upcoming years.
Edit : I'm not saying Americans are bad. It's just currently American culture is so influential that other culture goes down with time but Chinese people are less Americanised
