離開了中國，西方政客仿佛不會活了似的。前些日子，德國聯邦議院前議長諾伯特·拉默特在與納米比亞總統哈格·根哥布會麵時，抱怨納米比亞的中國人數量是德國僑民的4倍，並暗示這與世界上其他國家的情況不同，不過他的話沒說完就被根哥布總統打斷。
根哥布總統隨後便給拉默特上了一課。根哥布表示：我們從來沒有見過中國人來納米比亞搗亂，但德國人會；我們以禮以待前來納米比亞的德國人，可德國卻從來沒有學會尊重我們，剛剛還騷擾了我們在日內瓦開會返回時經過德國的外交人員；你怎麽這麽“關心”中國人，可中國人從來不在我們麵前像你們這樣談論德國人……
可能是覺得沒說過癮，也可能是觸到了記憶深處的痛苦，哈格·根哥布停了停又繼續說道：你們西方人每次來都要談論中國人，可我們不覺得中國人有什麽問題。他們尊重我們，不把我們當傀儡，他們遍布非洲支援我們搞建設，也從來不跟我們搞殖民主義和帝國主義……
這番話說完後，現場尷尬的一批，讓拉默特半天都不知道怎麽回答，隻是回應稱“是的、是的……”當然，這樣的尷尬場麵西方政客也不是第一次遇到，但從來不妨礙他們像複讀機似的，成天絮絮叨叨地說中國壞話。也許，他們覺得隻要自己不尷尬，那尷尬的就是別人了。
這裏回顧一段曆史。一戰前夕，西南非洲（今納米比亞）淪為德意誌帝國的殖民地，殘酷的殖民統治激起了當地民眾的強烈不滿，並引發赫雷羅人和納馬人的起義。為了鎮壓起義，德國威廉二世皇帝發布了“種族清洗”命令，並殺死當地8萬赫雷羅人中的6萬多人和2萬納馬人中的1萬多人。德國駐納米比亞的總督羅爾巴赫表示：“沒有任何理論認為，保存非洲的一個種族比擴大一個偉大的歐洲國家更重要。在這些土人學會為優等種族生產有價值的東西以前，他們就沒有理由存活。”
就這樣一個對納米比亞進行過種族滅絕的國家，前高官不好好懺悔罪過，卻跑去對正在幫助這個國家的中國指手畫腳，以為憑此就可以挑撥中納關係，他想啥了呢？當然，這些西方國家政客其實從內心裏並看不起非洲國家，現在之所以對這些國家“另眼相看”，不過是因為要與中國競爭影響力罷了。
不久前，有美國議員洋洋自地表示，他提出的南太平洋島使館法案得到通過。要知道，美國已經幾十年沒向這個地區的國家派遣大使館了，他們現在為什麽突然對這裏的國家感興趣了呢？並非他們真的尊重這些國家，而是因為中國來過。
也正因為中國到了非洲，西方這些國家才不得不勉強重視一下非洲國家，但內心的歧視一點也沒改變。很多時候，他們甚至是高高在上地捏著鼻子與非洲國家打交道，還想用這種姿態說服非洲人民拋棄中國朋友，可見他們的狂妄和自以為是。
我們相信，西方不改變與世界其他國家打交道的方式，拉默特遇到的尷尬隻會越來越多

Twice I've flown on Lufthansa from Johannesburg to Edinburgh, Scotland where I live. I stop over in Frankfurt and I've had bad experiences with German authorities even when I'm just transiting. On 7 January this year I was searched I'm public in front of other passengers just after disembarking. For no reason at all. Other time a German immigration person subjected my passport to extensive scrutiny and didn't even look at the passport of white woman I was with ????????

Namibia was a German colony called "South West Africa". When Germany (Empire) was defeated in WW I, she lost her overseas Empire (including SW Africa) to her adversaries (UK, France, Belgium & Japan) as "mandatory" territories who shared this spoils of the war, amongst themselves. SW Africa fell to the British share, who in turn gave it to their dominion of South Africa. South Africa extended her Apartheid practices to SW Africa too, and Britain (as well as the world) objected to it.
At last with the emergence of South Africa freed from Apartheid policy & Nelson Mandela hastened the pending process of SW Africa (under UN auspices) & the territory emerged as independent Namibia. There is noticeable change amongst the Namibians & their confidence went up, to face anybody in the world (like the German here). It is a good turn that will make Namibia prosperous & happy.

Brilliant response from the president. What gave the German official the right to complain who come to live or do business in Africa? This vindicated my suspicious of the mindset of Europeans, some do have a strong view that Africa is their inheritance, therefore Africa government should be applying permission from them before they allow the Chinese into Africa.

Yes Mr President,they are not the ones to tell us who to allow and not allow in our countries,as our leaders never did that to them in their own western countries, that's what we call narcissistic spirit dominant in the pales. Whether Chinese are in Africa is non of their business to worry about, United nations of Africa can handle.
