真正的強者：美國和Biden副總統
作為一個令人尊重的政治家，Vice President Joseph R. Biden曾多次因“不當言論”受到抨擊，比如，他曾在專訪中稱俄羅斯是“衰落了的國家”。 Biden Gives the Commencement Address at U of PA 2013 named "Don't listen to cynics".其中，談到目前美國畢業生所遇到現實就業和前景等問題時，Biden有以下段落提到中國：
I love to hear people tell me how to use the vernacular "China is going to eat our lunch."
China is a great nation, and we should hope for the continued expansion. But ladies and gentlemen, their problems are immense, and they lack much of what we have. We have the best universities in the world. We have a legal system that is open and fair. We have the most agile venture capital system in the world. We lead the world in innovation and technology, all for a simple basic reason. Steve Jobs, speaking at Stanford was asked by a young man "how can I be more like you, how I can become like you?" And Job famously answered: think different.
You CANNOT think different in a nation where you cannot breath free. You CANNOT think different in a nation where you aren't able to challenge orthodoxy, because change only comes from challenging orthodoxy.

I spent 10 days with President Xi at the request of former president Hu and President obama…I listened to his questions and the interests he had and he asked me how I felt after the 5 days in the U.S. and 5 days in China. And I said he's a strong bright man, but he has the look of a man who is about to take on a job he's not at all sure is going to end well. I mean that seriously.
We are so well-positioned. We are so well-positioned to lead the world into the 21st century.
未料想在中國留學生中引起軒然大波。
Mr. Biden不過是客觀地說明了中國及中國人的卑微民族特性：無公正感、服從威權、無能力創新思維、缺乏探索精神。然後以當政政治家的責任和身份，告訴美國的青年學生們，所宣傳和渲染的中國競爭力根本不值一提；且以個人身份和親身經曆表明，他所打過交道的中國現任領導人"take on a job he's not at all sure is going to end well",他知道這話的沉重分量和震撼性，還緊接著特意加上 "I mean that seriously"，以鼓勵美國的花朵和未來們。同時，這些話在一個非政府官方形式的正式場合(Non-governmentally official ceremony)，宣告了美國政府和政府領導人對美國及其國民的已完成並正在進行的負責、能力和信心。
真正的強者知道自己的價值觀是對的，而且自己在該價值觀上很優秀，所以真正地自信，因為這真正的自信，所以謙卑忍讓，表麵上反而是弱者；弱者則反之。
真正的力量令人尊重。但現實的人們，趨利避害、好逸惡勞、隻想輕易地取得好處，玩弄技巧以至欺詐在所不惜。年紀輕、經曆淺薄的人，以為隻要補充點知識就可以無敵於天下了，這種思維和行事方式永遠也無法擁有真正的力量。
但真正的強者，絕不依賴力量、強力或暴力，真正強在道德、公平和善良（所攜的力量）。而公平和善良沒有力量做支撐，是軟弱的，即，沒有約束意願或約束能力（或沒有懲罰意願或懲罰能力）的道德在現實中，是蒼白無力的。盡管，公正總是存在人們的心裏。
強者真正需要、擁有和尊重的是力量，弱者真正需要的是麵子。強者麵對強者的時候是尊重和贏得被尊重，即使輸也是有風度和被尊重地輸；麵對弱者的時候反而退讓，是為了小心維護弱者的麵子。這樣，真正的強者，由於愛心、自信和恬淡，能盡自己所能給他人以各自其實想要的東西。
可歎的是，世界上的強者越來越少，強者愈發珍視自己所能感覺到的在同一層次能交流的人，哪怕是對手。可是注定的，即使是這一層次的人，也大多會被真正的強者拋下，被拋下的原因在於他們自己。
於國於民，這道理是一樣的。
比如，華盛頓的軍力，在各自同時期與世界軍力的對比上，差於納粹德國。現在，沒有美國做世界警察，這世界還真要亂套。但美國的強大，真正原因在於高於其它國家的文化和體現該文化的運行體製。否則，為什麽中國人為了中國國內的不平去到白宮請願？
軒然大波不過是道德猥瑣的群體為了可憐的虛假麵子！
Sorry to disagree with you, with respect though. But "we Chinese...?" Speak for yourself.
Have you ever thought is the political systems. One is liberty and justice for all. The other is for "absolute most people".
For your comparison:

and:

Americans look at themselves in a positive way always although they have as many problems as other nations if not more.
We Chinese always look at ourselves in a negative way plus give credits to those foreigners who judge us in a negative way!!
Please look at the blind side because it might be fatal. Then the question is "are you sure?" or " how do you know?"
Here is a reminder:
"... America can do whatever we set our mind to... we can do these things not just because of wealth or power, but because of who we are: one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Biden 說話也是他的自由。他說中國政府不好，你也說美國政府把美國走向下坡路。提意見是為對方好。Biden認為中國環境需要自由才能發展。你覺得美國應該如何才能走上坡路？
我愛自己的民族，我希望她強大－不僅在中國強大，而且在世界各地，包括在美國強大。但同時我憎惡壓製我們民族發展的機構－不論是美國對華人的歧視，還是中國政府對人民自由的剝奪。

Biden was worried that China was going to eat USA's lunch, that give you some idea, he was so afraid of China and didn't know what to do!!
