不要與會讀書的女人爭論

 A couple went on vacation to a fishing resort up north. The husband liked
 to fish at the crack of dawn. The wife liked to read.
 
 One morning the husband returned after several hours of fishing and
 decided to take a short nap. Although she wasn't familiar with the lake,
the wife decided to take the boat.
 
 She rowed out a short distance, anchored, and returned to reading her
 book. Along came the sheriff in his boat. He pulled up alongside her and
said,

 "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"
  "Reading my book," she replied...as she thought to herself, "Isn't it obvious?"
 "You're in a restricted fishing area," he informed her.
 "But officer, I'm not fishing. Can't you see that?"
 "Yes, but you have all the equipment. I'll have to take you in and write
you up."
 "If you do that, I'll have to charge you with rape," snapped the irate
woman.
 "But, I haven't even touched you," groused the sheriff.
 "Yes, that's true," she replied, "But you do have all the equipment."
 
 MORAL: Never argue with a woman who knows how to read.

         一對夫妻到北方的釣魚勝地去度假，丈夫喜歡在黎明時釣魚，而妻子喜歡讀書。 

        一天早晨，當丈夫釣了幾個小時的魚後回來，他決定小睡一下；而妻子對這一帶湖
水不太了解，她就決定劃著小船遊一遊。

         她劃了一小段路程，就拋錨停了下來，繼續讀她的書。

         一個當地的行政執法官乘船走了過來，他來到她的旁邊，向她打招呼：

“您好！太太，您在做什麽？”
“讀書。”她回答說，心裏想：“難道他看不見嗎？”
“您在禁止釣魚的區域內。”他提醒她。
“但是，先生，您難道沒有看見嗎？我沒有釣魚。”
“是的。 但您有所有的設備，我必須帶您走並罰您的款。”
“假如您那樣做到話，我要告您搶劫。”這位女士憤怒的反擊。
“但我連碰您一下也沒有。”執法官抱怨說。
“那是真的，但您有所有的設備。”女人回答。
