昨天下午代課一天回來，上樓到臥室，床頭櫃上有一束鮮花，那是百合、玫瑰、雛菊插在一起的花束，滿屋漫溢著馨香。花旁邊還有一張"To My Wife" （至我太太）的大賀卡，都是周到的先生為輕舟準備的14年結婚紀念日驚喜！
卡片內寫著：
When I think of all the reasons (當我思考著所有理由
why you mean so much to me, 為什麽你對我來言如此重要，
And remember how you've made each day 我想起了你如何讓每一天
as special as can be, 都盡可能的特殊
And when I count the loving things 而當我數點美好的事情
you take the time to do, 你花時間去做
I know how fortunate I am 我知道我是多麽有福
to have your love and you. 能擁有你的愛和你。）
十四年結婚日又稱象牙婚。今天上午出門前，輕舟也在先生的辦公桌麵留了“愛的紙條”，還選了14年前在紐約雪城教堂結婚當天的一張婚紗照，貼在美國網頁 “臉本”(facebook)上，下午回家，收到了許多新朋舊友的祝福，其中有來自曾經參加傑明輕舟婚典的雪城老朋友和傑明在波斯頓的親戚們，謝謝朋友和親人的美好祝福！
雪城好友Romani和她的先生在留言裏寫道：we remember that beautiful day,when God brought u both together. Christ has been the head & heart of ur home & that's why we are rejoicing.（我們記得那個美麗的日子，當上帝作合，讓你們聯姻。基督一直是你們家的頭和心，也是為什麽我們都有喜樂。）仍記得兩年前夏天，經過雪城，正巧碰上Romani和她的先生35周年結婚紀念日，他們的孩子們為父母舉辦了結婚慶典，分享了他們在主裏的婚姻秘笈和育兒經，很受鼓勵，至今難忘！
先生下班回來，還帶來了輕舟喜愛的海鮮美食。他看到愛的紙條，和“臉本”上的留言，以及大家的祝福，很感動也很開心！
今天輕舟在“臉本”寫的幾句，最能表達“象牙婚紀念日”的心情：
14 years ago, my dearest friend and I got married in snowy Syracuse, NY. For the past 14 years, We've been truly blessed with the marriage - our love, prayers, romance and kids! Thanks Lord for the marriage!! （14年前，我最親愛的朋友和我在雪花飄飛的紐約雪城結婚。在過去的14年裏，我們都真實地感受到婚姻帶來的祝福 - 我們的愛，禱告，浪漫和孩子！感謝主為我們帶來婚姻！！）輕舟也在“臉本”上引用了曾經寫給傑明的生日詩歌：

Romance and intimacy
Children and parents
All woven in our lives -
Thanks to God's grace
