[轉載]感恩節感恩小記

明天是感恩節,我讀報紙,學習了感恩技巧:

I read an article in the newspaper and learned some techniques to be thankful: 


1.       Keep a journal full of all the things you are thankful for -  Write all the things you are grateful  for that day

   作感恩日記 - 記錄一天下來的感恩事項

2.       Watch what you talk - don’t use harsh words to yourself or others, instead use kind,encouraging, and polite words

   注意言論 - 不要說傷害別人的話,多說鼓勵別人、有禮貌的好話

3.       Pause mindfully every once in a while­- this will help you to cool of your mind and make you not to worried

   每天稍停片刻 - 讓腦子放鬆,不煩躁

4.       Keep good memories- to keep nice memories keep photographs, drawings, and written accounts in scrapbooks , photo albums, and in picture frames around your house (this helps you remember nice memories in the past)

   保留好的記憶 - 將相片、繪畫、日記放入剪貼本、相冊、或家裏的相框裏(這樣可以幫助你記住過往的好時光)

5.       Go on a gratitude visit- write a letter of thanks to someone who helped you in the past and maybe give them a gift to express your thanks. Then read it to them on the phone or in person

   去做感恩之行 - 寫“感謝卡”給曾經幫助你的人,或許送給他們一份禮物以示感激。然後當麵或在電話裏將感謝信讀給他們聽。

6.       When you aren’t thankful- think about people poorer than you that don’t have what you have and instead of being not thankful you should be grateful for what you have.

   若心無感恩 - 想想那些比你窮困的人。與其心無感恩,不如感謝你所擁有的。

7. Count blessings, not sheep - Review events and people to be grateful for during the day as you're falling asleep.

  數點祝福,不數綿羊 -- 臨睡前,回放一天內讓你感恩的事與人。


Doing these things helps adults and kids.

 感恩的態度有益身心:

For adults:                    對成年人來說:

More optimistic                更加樂觀

More social satisfaction       更令人滿意的社交

Less envy                      少了嫉妒

Less depression                少了沮喪

Fewer physical complaints      少了抱怨

Better sleep                   睡得更香

 

For children:              對孩子們來說:

Better grades              更好的成績

Higher goals               更高的目標

More satisfaction with lives, friends, family, and school

                           對生活、交友、家庭、學校更滿意

Less materialistic        少了物質主義

More desire to give back   多了回報的心願
