孩子們的“愛之語錄”

情人節就要來到，先祝大家“情人節快樂”！

一群專業人士問一群4到8歲的孩子“愛是什麽？” 孩子們的回答遠比大人想象的要寬廣和深遠的多。以下是他們的回答： 

“當我奶奶得了關節炎，她無法彎腰塗腳指甲油，我爺爺總為她塗，盡管爺爺手也有關節炎。”Rebecca- 8歲

“當某人愛你時，他們叫你名字的方式是不同的。你可以感覺到你的名字在他們嘴裏很平安。”Billy - 4歲

“愛是當你累了時，能讓你笑的人。” Terri–4歲

“愛是當我媽咪為爹地作咖啡時，她先嚐一小口，確保味道OK時，才給爹地。”Danny–7歲

“愛是不斷地親吻。吻累了，還願意呆在一起聊天。我媽媽和爸爸就是這樣，他們親吻時很專注。”Emily–8歲

“愛是聖誕節時，若你能停下打開禮物的手，傾聽屋子裏與你同在的東西。” Bobby - 7歲（哇！-那是神的大愛）

“若你想學會如何去愛，你應先愛你恨的朋友，從愛她（他）開始。” Nikka – 6歲（我們星球需要幾十萬如Nikka這樣的孩子）

“愛就是當你告訴一個人，你喜歡他的襯衫，他每天都穿這襯衫。”Noelle - 7歲

“愛是一個瘦弱的老女人和一個瘦弱的老男人，他們相識已久，但仍然是好朋友。”Tommy–6歲

“我在鋼琴表演的台上很緊張，看到台下的所有人都在看我。我爹地對我揮手微笑，他是唯一對我揮手微笑的人，我就不再緊張了。”Cindy - 8歲

“我媽咪愛我甚過任何人。因為隻有媽咪在我睡覺時親吻我。”Clare–6歲

“愛是我媽媽給我爸爸最好的一塊雞肉。”  Elaine - 5歲

“愛是我媽媽看到我爸爸汗流浹背，味道不佳時，仍然說他比演員羅伯特魯夫得還要英俊。” Chris -7歲

“我知道我姐姐愛我，她給了我她所有的舊衣服，而不得不出門買新衣服。” Lauren – 4歲

“當你愛上某個人時，你的睫毛忽上忽下，小星星們從你裏麵閃出來。”（好棒的想象力）Karen – 7歲

“除非你真正有愛，要不就不用說“我愛你”。但是若你有愛，你應該多說“我愛你”。因人是健忘的。Jessica – 8歲

最後一條：

勝出者是一位4歲的孩子，他的鄰居是一個年長的，剛失去老伴的老人。這個孩子看到老人在哭，他到老人的院子裏，爬到他的膝蓋上，坐在那兒。他媽媽問他，“你對鄰居說了什麽？”小男孩說：“沒說什麽，我隻是幫助他哭而已。”

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, 'What does love mean?' The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined.

'When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.'  Rebecca- age 8

'When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different.

You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.'  Billy - age 4

'Love is what makes you smile when you're tired.'  Terri - age 4

'Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.'  Danny - age 7

'Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mom my and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss' Emily - age 8

'Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.'  Bobby - age 7 (Wow! - It's God's Love)

'If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,'

Nikka - age 6 (we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

'Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.'  Noelle - age 7

'Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well.' Tommy - age 6

'During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore.'  Cindy - age 8

'My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night.'  Clare - age 6

'Love is when Mom my gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.'  Elaine-age 5

'Love is when Mom my sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford.'  Chris - age 7

'I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones.'  Lauren –age 4

'When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.' (what an image)  Karen - age 7

'You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.'  Jessica - age 8

And the final one

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.

When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,

'Nothing, I just helped him cry'
