Dear Parents,
As the children sang last night, “(God) is always with me, Friend and God for evermore, My Healer,” and “You promised Your help when I call on Your name, My Wonderful Counselor I give you praise.”
I give God praise for the beauty of the children’s voices and the message they were proclaiming. I also thank God that David, who fainted during the performance, will be coming home from the hospital today.
David was taken to the hospital last night after passing out while singing. David hit his head and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. He was diagnosed with a concussion and kept in the hospital for observation overnight. David’s mom spoke with me just a short time ago and said that David will be released and sent home from the hospital by noontime today. He suffered no broken bones or other complications and is a young man who is ready to be home with his family for Christmas. Praise God.
His parents have asked that I share with all of you how much your prayers on David’s behalf meant to all of them. I assured them that we would continue to pray for him as he recuperates from his fall.
Thank you for praying for David. Thank you for your response to last night’s unusual circumstances. I thanked the students for their cooperation, wonderful behavior and care for David’s well-being. I thank you also.
