女兒霏霏愛看有關動物的小說，她屬兔，小兔子是她最喜歡的動物。去年她7歲生日，好友Jani送給她一隻雪白的小兔，我們為她取名為“雪花”（Snow Flake)。在有雪花之前的那個聖誕節寒假，她寫了小說“The Lost Rabbit”(丟失的兔子)，配上電腦圖畫，被"Creation by You"出版社收入，算是霏霏發表的第一篇小說。今天抽空將她的英文小說收入我的博客。
I had Rachel the rabbit for a long time. She was a light brown rabbit. She loved water and carrots. She liked to hear me play the piano. She lived in our living room cage. Rachel liked to look at our two goldfish, Joey and Tiny, in our fish tank.
Rachel and I loved to play hide-and-seek and tag. We would hide behind trees and bushes in hide-and-seek. In tag we would run away from each other. When we had breaks, I would pet her. She liked to eat grass when I petted her.
My little brother liked Rachel. He helped to clean the cage. He would put everything in a zip lock bag, and then he threw the bag to the trash can. He did a good job for Rachel.
My Mom gave Rachel fresh water and food every day. Mom and I gave her a bath sometimes, but Rachel did not like her bath. We would dry her after her bath. She liked to hop around the ball after the bath.
Dad and I took Rachel
One Fall day, Rachel and I played a game of tag on the backyard. When I was about to tag her, she ran out of the fence and got lost. I looked all around but could not find her. Then I started to cry and I cried for a long time.
My dad and mom comforted me. My brother hugged me. I started to feel better. I stopped crying, but I still felt sad.
My parents and I went to a lot of pet stores trying to find a similar looking rabbit, but none of them looked like Rachel. All of the rabbits did not have a lot of fur in the winter. I missed Rachel my lost rabbit.
That winter we had a lot of snow. We made a snow rabbit on the backyard. We also made an igloo and a snow fort for the rabbit. I liked the snow rabbit a lot and we all had a nice time playing in the snow.
Spring came, my snow rabbit melted. I started to pray for a real rabbit. We went to a new pet store in town. I saw one rabbit that looked exactly like Rachel. She had the same fluffy light brown fur. She seemed to recognize me and she waved at me.
We asked the store owner where the rabbit was from. He told us that she was found in
We were so happy to bring Rachel back home. We gave her food and water. My brother cleaned the cage. Rachel was happy to bounce around us. She watched our two goldfish swim in the tank. I petted her and played with her. Most of all, I was thankful that my prayers were answered.
