December 22 is our Anniversary. Normally, we go out celebrate or take a trip. This year was special. Road from our home to outside world was closed due to the heavy snow in our area. So we celebrated our Anniversary at home. It was sweet and romantic.........
12月22日是我們的結婚紀念日。以往,我們都去外麵慶祝或出遊。今年大雪封山,我們就在家慶祝了。簡單做了幾道菜,歡歡喜喜, 甜甜蜜蜜度過了難忘的一天。
First course: Green salad with Hazel nuts and Balsamic vinagrette
Second course: Cheese Fondue
Side dish: Roast potatoes with rosemary and blue cheese
Main course: Grill organic lamb chops
Dessert: Chocolate pots de creme
第一道:綠色素菜加榛子色拉和自做的意大利香醋dressing
第二道:瑞士芝士火鍋
配菜:Blue cheese rosemary 烤土豆
主菜: 烤有機羊排 (Loin chop)
甜點:Chocolate Pots de Creme
First course: Green salad with Hazel nuts and Balsamic vinagrette
Roasted hazelnuts in the oven and chopped to small pieces, not too small. Sprinkle the hazelnuts on top of green salad. Balsamic vinagrette is made of olive oil, sea salt, sugar, balsamic vinegar and fresh grounded peppers. Mix well all ingredients together. Add salt to taste. Simple, easy and delicious.

榛子烤熟,切碎, 撒在素菜上. 意大利香醋dressing是用意大利香醋加柑欖油, 糖, 海鹽, 和黑胡椒做成的. 很簡單.
Second course: Cheese Fondue
Don't want to do too much in the special day. So, I bought a bag of Fondue mix. I prepared some French bread cube and some fresh vegetables. It is hearty, creamy, cheesy, delicious and romantic. You got to try it.
第二道:瑞士芝士火鍋 (Cheese Fondue)
用料有法國麵包塊,菜花,芥藍,水籮卜,胡籮卜。非常有味道。。。。。。。
Fresh bread cube is my favorite. 麵包塊是我的最愛。
Side dish: Roast potatoes with rosemary and blue cheese
配菜:Blue cheese rosemary 烤土豆
The potatoes were from our garden. I chose 4 different kind of potatoes
to get colorful dish. For an example, purple blue, red potatoes, yukon
gold, etc. Cut them into chunks, mix with 2 Tbsp of olive oil, sea salt, fresh grounded pepper and fresh rosemary.
我家自留地裏的不同種土豆(紅,黃,白,紫)洗淨,切大塊,加海鹽,橄欖油,黑胡椒,和 rosemary 混合均勻。看下圖。
Roast it in the pre heated oven at 425F, ~30 minutes. Sprinkle blue
cheese on the top and serve. They makes absolutely great side dish.
放入烤箱425華氏度烤30分鍾左右。取出,撒上奶酪。特有風味。簡單,好吃,健康,無油煙。
Main course: Grill organic lamb chops
We bought a grassfed lamb from a farm this year. This is loin chop. Can't describe how flavorable it was. You just can't compare the store bought lamb chops...... With the blue cheese and rosemary potatoes, it is called "taste of heaven".
主菜: 烤有機羊排
我們今年又買了一隻走地有機羊。這是 loin chop. 味道很棒。配上 blue cheese and rosemary potatoes 真是天生的一對。
Dessert: Chocolate pots de creme
甜點:Chocolate Pots de Creme(漢語不知道怎麽翻譯)
這是法國巧克力甜點。在餐廳裏上麵都放打發的鮮奶油。為了減肥,就減了。雖然沒有打發的鮮奶油,還是濃濃的奶香,濃濃的巧克力味道,回味無窮。
Our dinner ended with a superb treat. It was unforgettable Anniversary at home.
這道甜點給我們的晚餐畫了一個甜蜜的句號。難忘的一天就這樣甜甜地結束了。。。。。。
