2014 感恩節在我家（2014Thanksgiving in our home)

2014年的感恩節是我們的小馬妹的第一個感恩節，和哥哥姐姐比小馬妹害羞很多，安靜很多，世界之大，五彩繽紛讓她暇接不已。對我們來說感恩節從此又多了一個歡喜。今年的感恩節晚餐也是一樣從簡。。

Thanksgiving of 2014 is our youngest child's first Thanksgiving. Compare to her sister and brother, she is bit of quiet and shy in some ways. I am sure she will change very soon. The world is big and colorful. She has shown the big interest of all. As always, we have so much to thank, more for every year as time goes by.

三個孩兒媽的每一天都是繁忙的一天，沒有周日周末之分，感恩節的一天也不例外，隻是從大三角過渡到小三角（爐台，冰箱，洗碗池），沒有抱怨，隻有欣慰。晚飯要簡單，這樣可以多出時間和小朋友們玩。。。

2014年感恩節晚餐菜單：

烤培根卷伊拉克棗：店裏買來的棗卷上培根，烤箱預熱350度，烤至外脆就好了。Bacon Wrapped Dates. Wrap dates with bacon and bake them in a preheated oven, at 350F for 5 minutes or until is crispy outside. Simple enough, isn't it?

自拚冷盤：大都是店裏買的。沒有技術。不過要買好的，吃起來才不後悔。Cold cuts: Olives, radish, dates, dry pruns, cheese and Salami

我們家的明星，老少都愛！尤其是 Sharp 奶酪，連老爸老媽都愛。Favorite in our house. Everyone loves it. Never enough!

 

單獨烤的火雞配菜，喜歡沒有放入火雞肚子裏的。香腸，幹麵包，芹菜切丁，洋蔥丁，火雞脖子，肝，加入雞湯，鹽，胡椒粉，油少許，拌勻放入烤箱烤好就好了。Stuffing...have to have it. I prefer to bake it seperate from Turkey. It holds the shape better and taste better, I think. Never bake it inside turkey anymore...

奶油土豆泥：如今很多烹飪節目加很多變化，大蒜味，洋蔥味，各種香料等等，在我們家隻喜歡奶油原味。因為好的土豆不需要加任何東西去掩蓋他的香味，奶油，鹽和胡椒足亦！Mash potatos: The dish must have. Our family like the original without adding any other flavors except butter and milk. Lots of fusion dishes like garlic flavor, and other herbs. We love the original the best because the good potatoes are the best, no need to cover it.

蔓越果醬：農場買的，自己煮的，原料隻有糖，顏色比店裏買的深很多，味道更是純很多。Cranberry sauce, made with sugar only, the darker color, the better.

熏火雞：今年改成熏的，近8小時的火雞味道好棒！We had smoked turkey this year. Smoke it for over 8 hours. It was so good.

自己做的奶油麵包忘記拍了，看看我的盤子就看到麵包了，都吃光光。。。As usual, I made homemade dinner rolls. Look my plate. Belive to or, I ate it all...

甜點當然不能少了，去年做了南瓜奶酪蛋糕，很好做且深受家人的喜歡。Got to have dessert! Pumpkin cheese cake is the one last year. Everyone liked it.

又一年感恩節到了，相信大家和我一樣有更多感激的事情，祝大家感恩節塊快樂！Another Thanksgiving is coming. Like everyone, I have more to Thankful this year. Wish everyone have a nice Thanksgiving!!!
