給TexasChickenlittle和感興趣的人:黑莓和藍莓果醬配方

Sorry TexasChickenlittle, I am late. I have been busy at work. At the same time busy at home to prepare our Christmas stuff. Here are my recipes for blackberry Jam and blueberry jam. You can buy the pectin in any grocery store. It is about $2 a pack.
對不起TexasChickenlittle, 我來晚了。最近工作忙,回家來準備聖誕節的東西。下麵是我的果醬配方。果醬凝固劑在美國店裏都有的賣,$2左右。
1) Blackberry jam:
6 pint blackberries (~5 and 3/4cup crushed berries)
1/4 cup lemon juice
7 cup of sugar (books called 8 cups of sugar)
1 pack fruit pectin

Prepare Steps:
a) Crush berries in a heavy sauce pot one layer at time and bring it to boil.
b) Add lemon juice.
c) Add 1 pack fruit pectin and mix well. Bring the mixture to full rolling boil.
d) Stir in Sugar and return to full rolling boil on high heat. Stir constantly.
c) Ladle quickly into prepared jars
d) Adjust two pieces lid and process jars in boiling water per canning directions


2) Blue berry jam:
6 pint blue berries (~3 and 3/4 cup crushed berries)

4 and 1/2 cup sugar (books called 6 cups of sugar)

這是我做的藍莓果醬和早餐鬆餅, 配煎蛋和煎土豆絲最好了。


2) Here are some canning goods I have in our storage shelves such as jams, jellies, canned corns, canned tomatoes, blackberry juice, grape juice, canned peaches and pears, etc..
這是我家的儲藏室。我做的玉米罐頭,果醬,果汁,番茄罐頭,罐頭桃子,罐頭梨等。


這樣儲藏就不用冷凍了。
有一點注意,做果醬時,糖是凝固的重要東西,如果太少就會很稀不結凍,你試過後就會有體會了。有問題再跟我聯係。祝你成功!
