Since no where else to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...............
I grew up in Northern China. I know what the snow is. However, I am always excited when I see snow. Now in America, we have snow every year here. But not very often. Compare to mountain area and mid West, it is nothing. But it is so happy to see it.............
我們這裏每年多下雪，但是下的不多，和美國高山地區和美國中部相比差很遠，我是在北方長大的，直到今天，白雪飄飄還是讓我興奮不已。
Snow just started not very long. It has not covered the ground completely yet.
雪下得還不太大。地上還沒有完全蓋上。
It started to gather more on the trees and bushes.
走近看，樹上和灌木以經開始積雪了。
Camellia likes snow, I guess. That's why it chose to bloom in the winter.
茶花好像並不在乎下雪。
Snow was getting heavy after I walked down below. Wind also cached up.
從上麵走到大門，雪下得大了起來，風也刮得大了起來。
I made the wreath by myself.
大門上的花環是我自己編的。
Golden delicious apples are still hanging on the tree. It is my part of winter outdoor decoration.
黃元帥蘋果還刮在樹上呢, 哈哈哈
Don't have time to make jam using Quince this year. But it looks pretty just like this.
QUINCE 在枝頭, 我今年沒時間做 QUINCE 果醬,做冬天的室外裝飾也不錯嘛!
Let's look at the back yard. Snow is really falling.
走到後院看看, 雪下得好大.
I made these wreaths, too.
我自己做的聖誕WREATH.
Fish are doing fine. I guess it is not too cold yet.
魚兒還在水麵上遊, 大概還不算太冷.
Just after a while, Cars are covered with snow. I guess snow comes harder than I thought.
轉眼間,車子蓋上了厚厚的一層.
Fish pond has gathered more snow. My husband had to turn on the heater because it will get cold tonight.
魚塘邊也是厚厚的一層了. 老公不得不開動HEATER 了
Really, snow is falling hard.
看,這雪還下得不小啊.....
這天氣去外麵吃飯可不太明智,還是我自己做吧.
1.5-2磅帶骨Grass fed 牛肉
2杯紅酒
1隻洋蔥切丁
2隻 BAY LEAVES (香葉)
3隻胡羅卜
4隻土豆
鹽和胡椒粉
1大勺麵粉
橄欖油層1-2 大勺
取一塊 牛肉 (Rib Roast), 化冰, 兩麵用鹽和胡椒粉淹30分鍾.
厚底鍋加熱(中高熱), 加1大勺油, 牛肉兩麵煎黃, 取出待用,
1隻洋蔥切丁,放如上麵的鍋裏炒軟, 加胡椒粉,再加入一大勺麵粉,炒1分鍾,加入2杯紅酒, BAY LEAVE, 煮開,加入牛肉, 胡蘿卜,土豆, 低火或放如烤箱325F 烤3小時. 加鹽和胡椒粉調味. 很容易, 成品見下圖.
自己做的手工麵放在下麵, 澆上湯汁, 牛肉, 素菜, 配上一杯紅酒, 開飯了.
典型的 CONFORT FOOD.

I made Ginger breadman cookies and hung them on our Christmas tree. They are delicious. Pick one if you like.
