Sushi 1:1: California roll (加洲卷)

We love Sushi and Sashimi. But we also worry about food safety as well. So Sashimi is out of our family menu at home. Since someone in our family doesn't like the artificial crab meat, California roll is very popular on our menu as you can imagine.
加洲卷我們非常喜歡吃壽司和生魚片。但是由於食物安全和衛生的因素,在家做生魚片不太可能。除非魚是自己釣的。並且經過嚴格的溫度控製。我家有人不喜歡人造蟹肉。這樣一來加洲卷便成了我家的家常dish。


First, you need a Sushi mat and sea weed sheet:

To make california rool, you will need cucumber, avocado, cooked large shimp. I added some eggs because we like it with eggs. See below pictures:
加洲卷的配料主要有黃瓜,牛油果,煮熟的蝦。我喜歡加些雞蛋絲。按下圖排好。



Roll the mat and wrap tight. 卷緊,卷好。

Then, here it is:

Same methodology with inside-out rolls. Cut each big rolls into small pieces. Prepare wasabi, soy sauce and pickled ginger. Sushi is ready to eat. Here are some pictures.

I have to say, I like inside out California roll better than regular. Maybe it just me........
