I picked Mavs in 6.

I think Mavs can take the Heat in 6.
1. Dirk - he\'s playing out of this world right now, especially in crunch time. He\'s so calm, focused, and confident now. Look at him and Kidd after winning the WCF, no celebration or whatever, just usual business. Because both of them had only one thing in their eyes - the ring. In this playoff run, he has thrown away all the labels of soft and unclutch. Damn, he\'s so efficient, and truly unguardable when he\'s on.
2. Offense - Dallas have offensive weapons all over the floor. Unlike Bulls, when LeBron contains Rose, Bulls can\'t do anything meaningful, offensively, over a longer stretch. Kenny Smith summarized perfectly last night, that Heat never faced a team in the East, whose 4th or 5th offensive option can go off and score 20 points on you at any given night. Yes, Heat is a very very good defensive team (ranked No. 2 or 3 in the league). But, can they contain all the shooters Dallas have? Yes, they can throw Haslem (too short), Bosh (too skinny), and LeBron at Dirk, from time to time. Wade can stay with Kidd and Barea. But, can they handle those open shots for Terry and Peja? Can they keep up with Marion lurking around?
3. Jason Kidd - yes, he\'s 38, and his shots weren\'t great before, and now could be even more off. However, he\'s crafty and tricky as before. His feet might be a lot slower, but he makes up with experience and reputation. Yes, reputation, which is so important in defense. When you are considered a good defender, even if sometimes you hack the opponent or grab or push, you could get away with it. That is just so crucial when the game is tight, leBron or Wade going in ISO mode.
4. Miami as a team, is struggling to score now. Wade is off, way off, and I seriously think he might be injured. You need consistent offensive output from big 3 or even 4 players, facing an offensive power house in Dallas.
On the end, it\'s Dirk vs LeBron, distributed offense vs big 3. My money is on Dirk :)
Also, it\'s my hope as well. Honestly, I am no fan of either team. However, looking at LeBron (he\'s definitely the best player in the league now). He enjoyed shutting Rose down when it mattered, just like Dream enjoyed beating the crap out of Robinson in the WCF, when the Admiral won the regular season MVP. This Miami team, if they get more time, with their core of big 3 plus Haslem, and a few more offseason signing and drafts. They will be unbeatable in the next few years. Now is the best time to beat them. Go Dirk!
