12. There are little holes at the bottom of the glass container which holds the box that has the Holy Beard of Muhammad. It is said to smell like rose.

15. Konya is one of the most conservative cities in Turkey and it showed. Restaurants would not serve food until after sunset during Ramadan. So people just sat there and waited for sunset to eat.

17. Since people can't eat between sunrise and sunset during Ramadan (~15 hours), meal portion is huge during Ramadan. This was one order of lamb.
