Newfoundland (2) - To Trinity

(2015-09-26 16:09:36) 下一個

Today we first drove to Port Rexton to hike the Skerwink Trail. It is really nice, short (5.3 km) but with lots of ups and downs, nice views. Then we went to Elliston to see puffins. What a good decision. We saw lots of puffins on the rock, and hundreds of them in the water. The guys at the visitor center told us the puffins came back every year following their food, and leave around 9/10 to 13th, so we saw them just in time. After that we went to Cape Bonavista, which supposed to have puffins too, but we only saw one there. And finally we drove back to Trinity to check in our hotel for the night.
