The weather forecast for Banff was bad for the next two days, so there was no point staying around Banff, we decided to go west, to Yoho National Park today and maybe Glacier National Park tomorrow. But when we stopped at Yoho National Park's visitor center in Field to get a map, we happened to mention we didn't have reservation for Lake O'Hara bus. The lady said: Do you want the bus tickets? We still have some for tomorrow's, someone just called to cancel their tickets. So we lucked out, and decided we would go to Lake O'Hara tomorrow.

4. Field, a small village by Yoho National Park. It is better to stay either in Field or Lake Louise to visit Yoho National Park. The town of Golden, 60 km south west of Field, is a bit of drive.

10. Not sure why, but there was a nicely carved wood sign showing the date by the lake.
Comparing to Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake, there was so little people at Emerald Lake. We even saw a mother moose and a baby moose up close during our hike. They were going to cross the trail we were walking on. So we walked past it and turned back to look. We were afraid the mother may attack us if we stayed too close, so we walked 10-20 yards away. Both of the moose crossed the trail quickly and disappeared into the woods.
