We went to Museu Picasso first thing in the morning. It was just after 10:00 am (opening time) when we got there, and there was already a little line forming up. The museum is nice. We spent ~2.5 hours there.
Not far from Museu Picasso is a huge park called "Parc de la Ciutadella". We only walked a very small part of it because the sun was brutal.
1. A chocolate shop on the way to the park.

After the park we went to Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter) which is filled with narrow winding streets and 14th/15th century buildings.

10. Saw a nicely painted shop security door while wandering around.
After Barri Gòtic we went to Parc Güell, a free park designed by Gaudí. The park is located between metro stations Vallcarca and Lesseps. From either stop you need to walk uphill to reach the park. But from Vallcarca, there are a series of escalators that help with the steep climb.

For dinner, we went back to the Ramblas. One of our friends found this restaurant, Les Quinze Nits, on Plaça Reial seemed to always have a waiting line. So we decided to try it. We ordered mixed Paella, a popular rice dish in Spain. It was so good, and the price was very reasonable too.

After dinner we went to Sagrada Família to see it at night. It was beautiful and much more peaceful than in the day. We sat on a bench in front of a reflecting pond, wondering how can we ever leave this place. Then all of a sudden the lights were turned off (it was midnight), so that made it easy.
