Why does everyone know that in US history black people were slaved, oppressed and mistreated by the White? BECAUSE IT WAS WRITTEN IN HISTORY BOOK. However, very few people know that:
1. Many black people were slaved by black not the white owners.
2.it were white people first to decide to end slavery, not black slave owners
3. In civil war, it were white people sacrificed their lives enormously to free black slaves. Just at Gettysburg PA in 1863 about 50,000 lives lost in 3 days. Most of them were white men who were not slave owners.
4.From 1861 to 1865, it is estimated that 620,000 to 750,000 soldiers died, along with an undetermined number of civilians. By one estimate, the war claimed the lives of 10 percent of all Northern men 20–45 years old,(white) and 30 percent of all Southern white men aged 18–40
Again, why does everyone today know black people were slaved, oppressed and mistreated by the white but very few know the ultimate sacrifice white people had done? Almost all black people today , even those whose great grand parents were not slaves , are similarly angry at white, no one shows any appreciation to the white for their bloodshed. Many white people today with no slave-owner ancestors but have developed " White guilt ". At last many Chinese Americans have learned that "because of black people's keep fighting, we chinese have got our rights and equality "..... all from one same bias history text book.
