昨天上班的時候，我的一位病人告訴我，她和她先生曾經和吳京華同租一棟房子，她先生更是吳在Santa Clara University 的同班同學和多年的老朋友，她和她先生都很驚訝吳京華能做出這樣的事，從這位病人的描述中，我對吳有了一個大概的，進一步的認識。吳京華來自於四川省的一個小縣城，天資聰穎，努力好學，七七年恢複高考後不久就以優異的成績考入北大（他應該是七七或七八級的），北大畢業後不久，德國西門子公司在北京招聘工程師，當時幾千人應聘，吳京華以其出色的表現被選中，繼而被派到德國工作，六四前後他又被西門子公司派來美國工作，後來西門子裁員，他就去了“Santa Clara University" 進一步深造，拿到該校的碩士學位，先後在美國幾家大公司工作，成為資深電腦工程師，可以算得上成功人士。在他就讀 “Santa Clara University" 期間曾擔任學生會幹部，因為比大多數在校生年紀大，大家都尊稱他大哥，他也的確有大哥的風範，很樂意幫助需要幫助的同學。在他剛被西門子裁員後，他還對朋友講，“裁員沒什麽，大不了去餐館幹，正好利用這個時間讀書”，在後來所經曆的幾次裁員，他都以樂觀，平常的心對待，所以熟悉他的人都不能理解他為什麽這次以如此激烈的犯罪手段對待裁員呢？

One has to look at the big picture in life. Life may be hard at the moment but if you are able to look at the big picture, and if you are able to keep your faith, you will find that you are doing quite Ok on the balance. Compare to most people on this earth, Wu has had a fortunate life, from every angle. He let the greed and selfishness take over.
