The Daffodils

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

詠水仙

獨自漫遊仿佛雲煙
飄越溪穀掠過山巒
花叢簇簇映入眼簾
金光燦燦迎客水仙
茂林之蔭銀湖之畔
隨風搖曳起舞翩翩

花兒遍布如星璀璨
點綴銀河晶瑩爛漫
綿綿不絕悠悠無限
一路蔓延湖灣之畔
目之所及成千上萬
娉婷翹首起舞翩躚

水泛漣漪碧波瀲灩
在水一方花更俏豔
詩人不禁歡喜卓然
笑語盈盈相依相伴
凝望良久尚未明鑒
此景賜我豐饒致遠

軟席憑倚空寥遣倦
心不在焉沉思悵然
透視心扉情景回閃
孤寂之時天賜福緣
我心歡悅福杯溢滿
心花怒放共舞水仙

小記：這首詩同樣來自先生二十前送我的詩集『101 Famous Poems』，正是春花爛漫時，水仙一叢叢一簇簇細小而充滿生命力。原來古今中外對水仙花都是那麽喜愛有加，想起心姐寫過家裏的水仙花，那時一到冬天，有雅興的人家都要養盆水仙，趕到春節前後開花，淡淡的香氣，引來街坊鄰裏親朋好友欣賞。

這些水仙照片第一張來自網絡，其他的都在我家院裏綻開笑臉，有些年年開，越分越多。去年感恩節後又買了不少，我種晚了，鬱金香的稈兒很短，就迫不及待開花了，結果成了水仙的陪襯。

小插曲，讀到詩句＂For oft when on my couch I lie" 首先蹦出的詞是“沙發土豆（couch potato)，這，這。。。也太不好入詩了。為了押韻，有些順序顛倒了，不妥之處，敬請諒解。

水仙被讚為淩波仙子，願美好時刻永駐，心靈之花常開～～～
