1。就valley of ashes，她說'I honestly don't know what Fitzgerald is talking about', 'who are those men (ash grey men)'? etc.
I agree. I don't know what Fitzgerald is talking about either.
2。就一輛limousine的driver和passengers的那一段， 她說'This really is a completely unnecessary detail'.
I disagree. 我們不能用現代的眼光來取舍非現代文學作品的內容。我們要以當時的曆史背景來分析理解一個作品。
