then here is what I think could serve as a good translation:  My heart sank to the bottomless pit, instead of YOU dropped to the land from the HEaven. 我的心掉下無底洞--比較地道的英語表達，個人認為，讓人一目了然--讓人看到詩人心碎心酸的樣子，可以替代從天上掉到地上--這個讓人看到粉身碎骨而言--沒有心碎
