終於想起來以前在KDFC上常聽到主持人用這個短語，

我還問過我兒子這個and-then-some什麽意思。

最初讀你這段還以為這個and then some 就是and then的意思呢。順著你給的link又去查了查，對你的用法有疑問：

1、聽到見到過的用法都是 blah blah blah blah, and then some. 沒見“and then some”後麵還帶其他內容的；

2、套用網上見到的使用模式，好像這句說成“you have to / should do 1, 2, 3, and 4, and then some”更合理一些. 可是那and then some好像是用來吹牛或者畫大餅的，as long as you do something, and then some, you ... 邏輯上似乎有點兒不通； 

3、這段順序改改，我個人覺得更易接受：

As long as you learn all the ins and outs, get your ducks in a row, cover the whole nine yards, keep your plate full, and then some, you'll be home free，and then some.
