我的六年綠卡路 (1)

我被現在公司(我畢業後的2ND 公司, 1ST ONE 是一個印度小公司,老板不太尊重人,GREEN CARD LABOR 一拖再拖. 工作了一年九個月後QUIT 加入現公司)錄用,沒提什麽要求,隻要能馬上開始辦綠卡.那是2002年11月.
當時公司每月登廣告,收攏resume,所以綠卡可以馬上啟動.PD 早的人都知道,當時CLINTON 時期通過BILL, RECOVER UNUSED GREEN CARD QUOTA, EB1,2,3 都沒排期. 也就是說, LABOR (STATE & REGIONAL)一過, 馬上可以FILE I140 & I485.

公司同意馬上辦,但為了省事,就辦了EB3 (PD JAN 2003), 當時LABOR STATE =1 YEAR, REGIONAL 3~4 月, 應該04年上半年FILE I140 & I1485. 後來證明當時辦EB3 後患無窮. STATE LABOR 用了一年多, REGIONAL (CHICAGO REGIONAL OFFICE) 停辦permanent labor, 所有RESOURSE辦理H2A? 我的LABOR到了CHICAGO就陷入了無休的停頓.從2004年三月到場2005年,再被轉到DALLAS BACKLOG CENTER. PD 早的人知道, 2005年是一個分水嶺.EB3 不再CURRENT.我的LABOR 於2005 年9月從DALLAS 出來,I140 於是2005年10月被APPROVED.這時非常NAIEVE,認為PD2003年一月已經很早,一到2006年排期就不會有什麽問題了.
