玉階怨                 The Jewel Stairs’ Grievance

玉階生白露，              White dew grow denser on jewel stairs,
夜久侵羅襪。              night has long soaked through silk stockings.
卻下水晶簾，              Back to her room, she lowers the crystal blinds,
玲瓏望秋月。              but eyes are still fixed on the exquisite autumn moon.
