3月25日，周潤發攜妻子出席了在香港舉行的新片《黃石的孩子》（又名《戰火逃城》）首映禮，會上除楊紫瓊外主演悉數到齊。

關於楊紫瓊的再度缺席，周潤發微笑說明，她隻是要趕在紐約的慈善活動，因為檔期的緣故無法趕來，他還調侃自己與楊紫瓊生活中“沒戲”，所以這位小姐遲遲不肯露麵。

歐陽震華也到場支持發哥新片。

本來預定今年即將開拍的《上海》因為劇本的問題而需要推遲開拍，場地也由中國轉到了泰國，不過周潤發說，還是會有一部分在中國取景的。
