2007年12月16日19時，香港TVB8金曲頒獎禮將盛大舉行。《TVB金曲榜頒獎典禮》為一年一度的華語樂壇盛事，總結歌手全年成績，表揚為歌壇付出努力的音樂人。全球華語樂壇精英將聚首一堂，競逐最具代表性的樂壇桂冠。TVB8會以衛星直播整晚盛況至世界各地，讓全球華人都能欣賞這星光熠熠的音樂盛會。林憶蓮(聽歌)、周傑倫(聽歌)、張靚穎(聽歌,blog)、厲娜(聽歌,blog)等入圍此次頒獎提名，在16日晚角逐獎項。
