用機敏靈透、秀質慧心來形容胡靜是最合適不過的了。看慣了娛樂圈中的各式美女，見了胡靜，吸引你的並不是她的美麗外表，而是胡靜身上所特有的爽朗真實的個性和生活氣息頗濃的氣質。《孝莊秘史》之後的胡靜片約不斷，而且大多是主演。她那張俏麗的臉常被人們跟“台灣第一美女”蕭薔比較。不過她自己認為蕭薔猶如一朵牡丹，而自己更像一支百合。
如今“演而優則唱”的藝人不在少數，影視演員胡靜也將跨入到歌手的行列中，胡靜表示，自己並不是湊熱鬧，而是“終於下決心做自己喜歡的做的事”。為了做這張專輯，胡靜一年都沒有拍戲，特別跑到新加坡跟李思菘和李偉菘老師學習發音方法，“在唱歌上我是新人，想多花些功夫學。”
胡靜說，參加“舞林大會”後，有很多唱片公司找上們來，“他們勾起了我唱歌的欲望，所以就下決定要把這件事做好。”因為有舞蹈功底，胡靜這張取名為《愛不出賣》的首張專輯將呈現出舞曲風格，而胡靜以後也將以歌手和演員的雙重身份出現在大家麵前。
