高樓林立:號稱沙漠曼哈頓的希巴姆古城(組圖+視頻)

　“沙漠中的曼哈頓”，也門的希巴姆古城 ，世界上最古老的城市之一。位於也門中部的哈德拉毛省，距首都薩那以東約470公裏。1982年聯合國教科文組織將希巴姆古城作為文化遺產，列入《世界遺產名錄》。

　十六世紀的希巴姆城堡被軍事防禦牆環繞，是基於垂直建築規則建造的最古老，最傑出的都市規劃典範之一。在懸崖上的這座塔狀建築給人印象深刻，由此這座城市得名“沙漠中的曼哈坦雞尾酒”。

　希巴姆古城為東西約500米，南北約400米的長方形城市，周圍環繞著5一6米高的城牆，城牆的西麵是河流，另三麵是棕櫚林。

居住於其間大約有7000居民，共有5座清真寺，其中，一座建於8世紀。
