　　8月27日下午四時許，有傳聞鍾楚紅（鍾楚紅寫真）丈夫朱家鼎於上星期五癌症病發逝世，大批傳媒聞風趕至紅姑於司徒拔道之寓所及養和醫院守候，但至晚上九時仍不見紅姑及其親友之蹤影。早前多本周刊雜誌於五月中時， 朱氏被拍得患結腸癌並暴瘦五十多磅，當時朱氏正在前往針灸求醫。
