三皇五帝的目錄

舜禹行宮的整修工作開始了，行宮就對外開放了。很多人來行宮參觀。據說在這座行宮落成後直到今天，約六千四百年間，隻有20%的中國人沒來參觀過這座行宮。原因是它們生活在地獄裏，那裏是沒福的地方。其它80%的華人至少來過一次，許多人來過多次，但就是不說。

人們開始檢查認證這座由舊木頭蓋成的新房還能用多少年？有人說15年，有人說10年。塵香和塵凡也參加了猜測，認為能住20年。他倆問建築公司經理。經理回答： “我能住30年，你們哥倆能住20年，皇帝住7年。”

塵凡問：“他們隻住7年，那我們用什麽標準來修建這皇宮？”

公司經理回答：“即便是皇帝隻在這裏住一個月，我們也當成他們要住100年。”

The renovation of Migration Palace of Shun and Yu began, and it was opened to the public. Many people came to visit the palace. It is said that in the six thousand four hundred years since the palace was built until today, only 20% of the Chinese have not visited the palace. The reason is that they live in hell, where there is no fortune. The other 80% of the Chinese have been there at least once, and many have been there many times, but they just don't talk about it.

People began to check and certify how long this new house made of old wood could last. Some said 15 years, others said 10 years. Dust-Scent and Dust-Mortal also speculated that it could last 20 years. They asked the manager of the construction company.

The manager replied: "I can live here for 30 years, you two brothers can live here for 20 years, and the emperor can live here for 7 years."

Dust-Mortal asked: "They only live here for 7 years, so what standard do we use to build this palace?"

The company manager replied: "Even if the emperor only lives here for a month, we will treat it as if they will live here for 100 years."

3.6.2.5-2

這次行宮改造的主要工程項目是，一，為了增加采光，給行宮開幾個天窗，附加給各個房間裝上天棚；二，為了增加房間裏空氣的流動性，給行宮建立通風係統。通風係統是由一幢旱煙囪及與之相連的排氣通道和進氣通道構成的。其中旱煙囪，又名雷峰塔，是耗工耗時的主體項目。拆除了位於雷峰塔底座的四個洗浴間之後，設計院派來了實地考察的人。

設計院的代表看了以前大禹留下來的地基驗收報告和雷峰塔的地基現狀後說；“我們認可以前的地基驗收報告；但是那是五年前的竣工報告。我們有必要挖三個測試坑，看看有沒有變化。然後做幾個抗壓測試。這些實驗我們都不收錢。”建築公司經理和政府派來的三個施工監理都同意了。

The main projects of the palace renovation this time are: first, to increase the lighting, open several skylights in the palace and install ceilings in each room; second, to increase the air flow in the rooms, build a ventilation system for the palace. The ventilation system is composed of a dry chimney and the exhaust and intake channels connected to it. Among them, the dry chimney, also known as Leifeng Pagoda, is the main project that consumes labor and time. After dismantling the four bathrooms at the base of Leifeng Pagoda, the design institute sent people to conduct on-site inspections.

After looking at the foundation acceptance report left by Dayu and the status of the Leifeng Pagoda's foundation, the representative of the design institute said, "We recognize the previous foundation acceptance report, but that was the completion report five years ago. We need to dig three test pits to see if there are any changes. Then do some compression tests. We don't charge for these experiments." The construction company manager and the three construction supervisors sent by the government all agreed.

在做實驗的幾天裏，塵香天天請設計院的代表喝酒吃肉。代表離開工地的這天，塵香請他喝茅台酒。設計院的代表笑著問：“有什麽事？你就直說吧！若不然這茅台酒我可不敢喝。”

沉香說：“我想把通風係統的進氣道口向北移到院牆邊。這樣不但美觀，還可以把進氣口的房子建得長些來減少被投毒的風險。”

During the days of the experiment, Dust-Scent treated the design institute representative to alcohol and meat every day. On the day the representative left the construction site, Dust-Scent treated him to Maotai alcohol. The design institute representative smiled and asked: "What's the matter? Just tell me! Otherwise, I dare not drink this Maotai alcohol."

Dust-Scent said: "I want to move the air intake of the ventilation system to the north, next to the courtyard wall. This will not only look good but also allow the air intake house to be built longer to reduce the risk of poisoning."

設計院的代表回答：“跟帝王家做買賣有個毛病，常更改設計；所以我的原設計就是像你說的那樣。這樣吧，下次我再來的時候，給你帶來一份原設計的草圖。說是草圖，實際就是比設計圖紙做的看起來茅草些。上麵寫著我的煙囪高度和通風道長度計算公式，和計算過程。你的那位經理或者你弟弟塵凡一看就懂。他們就可以用那草圖作為施工的依據。雷峰塔的結構不用改。你若用你說的進氣道長度，雷峰塔的原設計高度還有一米的多餘。”

The representative of the design institute replied, "There is a problem with doing business with the emperor, the design is often changed; so, my original design is just like what you said. How about this, next time I come, I will bring you a sketch of the original design. It is called a sketch, but it is a rougher design than the design drawing. It contains my calculation formula for the height of the chimney and the length of the ventilation duct, as well as the calculation process. Your manager or your brother Dust-Mortal will understand it briefly. They can use the sketch as the basis for construction. The structure of Leifeng Pagoda does not need to be changed. If you use the intake duct length you mentioned, the original design height of Leifeng Pagoda will still have one meter extra."

沉香回答：“謝謝了！那我把20兩銀子作為禮物送給你！”

設計院的代表說：“謝謝了！那我可以把我的名字簽在草圖上麵。我不能把我們公司的印章蓋在上麵。那樣，你的花費就大了；我也違反了我們公司的規定。”

隨後，塵香和塵凡就研究了如何更改施工進度表，來實現他倆挖洞進入舜帝行宮的計劃。

Dust-Scent replied: "Thank you! Then I will give you 20 taels of silver as a gift!"

The representative of the design institute said: "Thank you! Then I can sign my name on the sketch. I cannot put our company seal on it. That way, your cost will be high, and I will also violate our company's regulations."

Afterwards, Dust-Scent and Dust-Mortal studied how to change the construction schedule to realize their plan to dig a hole into Emperor Shun's palace.

3.6.2.5-3

一天塵香正在和捕快“臨衝”和 “路引”在縣政府的門前嘮嗑，一個農村老大爺進了縣政府。臨衝調侃地對塵香說：“你舅舅來了！”

塵香看了舅舅一眼，回答：“他來幹嘛？”

路引回答：“他是來辦假身份證的。”

塵香不屑地回答：“他有假身份證也沒什麽地方可去！”

One day, Dust-Scent was chatting with the constable Before-Charging and Road-Leader in front of the county government, when an old man from the countryside entered the county government. Before-Charging said to Dust-Scent jokingly, "Your uncle is here!"

Dust-Scent glanced at his uncle and replied, "What is he doing here?"

Road-Leader replied, "He is here to get a fake ID."

Dust-Scent replied disdainfully, "He has nowhere to go with a fake ID!"

路引說：“我聽說，你媽家的祖墳本來不在湖北。十年前，你的外祖母，西王母，把祖墳從浙江遷到了湖北。你舅舅在浙江時就有很多生意，很有錢。他來到這兒之後，他的生意擴展到了江蘇，山東和河北。”

這時舅舅，縣長，和縣長秘書從縣政府裏走出來了。舅舅高興地招呼沉香說：“縣長請我吃飯，走！你跟舅舅一起去！”

塵香沒回答。臨衝在他的耳邊小聲說：“跟縣長一起吃飯的機會難得呀！” 塵香覺著臨衝的話有道理，跟在了他們三人的後麵。

Road-Leader said, "I heard that your mother's ancestral grave was not originally in Hubei. Ten years ago, your grandmother, King Mother of the West, moved the ancestral grave from Zhejiang to Hubei. When your uncle was in Zhejiang, he had a lot of business and was very rich. After he came here, his business expanded to Jiangsu, Shandong and Hebei."

At this time, Uncle, the county prefect, and the county prefect's secretary walked out of the county government. Uncle happily greeted Dust-Scent and said, "The county prefect invited me to feast, let's go! You go with your uncle!"

Dust-Scent did not answer. Before-Charging whispered in his ear, "It's a rare opportunity to have feast with the county prefect!" Dust-Scent felt that Before-Charging's words made sense and followed the three of them.

3.6.2.5-4 一輩子沒做過對不起父母的事 I have never done anything to let my parents down in my life.

在開始吃飯前，縣長鄭重地對舅舅致謝：“我代表縣委，縣政府，和全縣的公民感謝您在我們這裏住了十年！您此次回老家都打算做些什麽？”

Before the meal began, the county chief solemnly thanked Uncle: "On behalf of the county party committee, the county government, and all the citizens of the county, I would like to thank you for living here for ten years! What do you plan to do when you return to your hometown this time?"

舅舅回答：“我一輩子沒做過對不起我父親（即玉皇大帝）和我母親（即王母娘娘）的事。自從我母親將女媧家族的祖墳遷到了湖北，我就沒離開過這縣的地域一次。這次回廢都杭州，我要先去以前的鯢丸宮，拜祭我的母親西王母，和我的外祖母蔻珠。然後，我去找幾個和我一起長大的老朋友。第二個我要去的地方是位於河南的廢都永安，去拜祭我的父親和我的爺爺元始天尊（即太昊）。在那之後，我去嵩山少林寺，去拜見我的大伯父靖王武大郎和大伯母石磯娘娘潘金蓮。在那之後，我去山東，那裏有我許多過去的生意上的朋友。”

Uncle replied, "I have never done anything to let my father (Jade Emperor) and my mother (King-Mother of the West) down in my life. Ever since my mother moved the ancestral tomb of Nuwa family to Hubei, I have never left this county. This time when I return to the abandoned capital of Hangzhou, I will first go to the former Salamander Bolus Palace to pay homage to my mother, King Mother of the West, and my grandmother, Kou’zhu. Then, I will go to see some old friends who grew up with me. The second place I will go to is the abandoned capital of Yong'an in Henan, to pay homage to my father and my grandfather Original Sky Honor (Taihao). After that, I will go to the Shaolin Temple in Songshan to pay homage to my great uncle, King Jing, Martial Big Wolf, and my great aunt, Queen Stone Jetty, Goldthread Pan. After that, I will go to Shandong, where I have many of my old business friends."

縣長說：“您在三年之內回來這裏一次就行！”

舅舅回答：“用不了三年！我已經習慣這裏的生活了。旅遊完我說過的那三十幾個地方，我就回來這裏養老。”

縣長莊重地對秘書說：“那這事就由你來辦吧！”他轉臉對舅舅說：“我現在還在工作。我去付賬，然後就回辦公室了。你們慢慢聊！”

The county prefect, "You just need to come back here once within three years!"

Uncle replied, "It won't take three years! I'm used to life here. After I travel to thirty or so places, I mentioned, I'll come back here to retire."

The county chief solemnly said to his secretary, "Then you can do it!" He turned to Uncle and said, "I'm still working. I’ll pay the bill and then go back to the office. You guys chat slowly!"

幾個人都站了起來，目送縣長離開後，舅舅抱住了塵香，對秘書說：“我聽說了這小子的一些事，他將來肯定比我有出息！”

秘書笑著對塵香說：“比舅舅更有出息，比蹬天難！”

他們三人聊了一會兒後，舅舅拿出了一個裝著300兩銀子的袋子，放到了秘書的麵前。秘書連忙說：“我可不能收您的錢！”

Several people stood up and watched the county magistrate leave. Uncle hugged Dust-Scent and said to the secretary: "I heard about this kid. He will be more promising than me in the future!"

The secretary smiled and said to Dust-Incense: "It's harder than climbing to the sky to be more promising than Uncle!" After the three of them chatted for a while, Uncle took out a bag containing 300 taels of silver and put it in front of the secretary. The secretary hurriedly said: "I can't take your money!"

舅舅笑著回答：“禮物！”

秘書立刻站了起來，接過了袋子，說：“謝謝舅舅！您的新身份證，我回去就做。晚上，我給您送過去。”

舅舅指著塵香回答：“不麻煩您了！新身份證做好後，交給他，讓他下班後給我帶回去。”

Uncle smiled and replied, "Gift!"

The secretary immediately stood up, took the bag, and said, "Thank you, Uncle! I will make your new ID card when I get back. I will send it to you in the evening."

Uncle pointed at Dust-Scent and replied, "Don't bother you! When the new ID card is made, give it to him and ask him to bring it back to me after get off work."

3.6.2.5-5

縣長秘書跟著塵香進了檔案庫，就開始為舅舅做身份證明。塵香默默地在旁邊看著，記下了秘書作假身份證的方法。隨後他向秘書詢問了舅舅家的地址，就回家找弟弟塵凡了。塵凡一聽哥哥讓他陪著去舅舅家，很不高興。塵香解釋說：“縣長請舅舅吃飯，他拉我一起去，是在抬舉我。咱倆應該去謝謝他。”

到舅舅家後，這哥倆敲門，沒人開門。他倆拉開門就進去了。屋裏沒人，但被屋子裏的布置驚呆了，和龍王爺爺（即熬欽）的房間布置的一樣，還供著龍王的雕像。雕像的前麵放著一本《龍王經》（注，本書3.4《大禹治水》是根據這本經改編的）。塵香翻開書一看，更吃驚了。這書述說的是堯舜禹龍王和自己的父親牛郎之間的事。還有一章詳細地敘述了牛郎父子三人到瓊洲後直至這哥倆離開瓊洲的許多生活細節。

The prefect secretary followed Dust-Scent into the archive and began to make an identity card for Uncle. Dust-Scent silently watched from the side and memorized the secretary's method of making a fake ID. He then asked the secretary for the address of his uncle's house and went home to find his brother Dust-Mortal. Dust-Mortal was upset when he heard that his brother had asked him to accompany him to Uncle's house. Dust-Scent explained, “The prefect invited Uncle to dinner, and he was lifting me up by dragging me along. The two of us should go and thank him.”

When they got to their uncle's house, the two brothers knocked on the door and no one opened it. They opened the door and went in. There was no one in the house, but they were surprised by the layout of the house, which was the same as that of the room of the grandfather of Dragon King (i.e. Aoqin), and there was also a statue of the Dragon King. In front of the statue sits a copy of the Dragon King Sutra (Note: Chapter 3.4 "Yu Treats the Water" in this book is adapted from this sutra). Dust-Scent opened the book and was even more surprised. The book described the events between Yao, Shun Yu, Dragon King, and their own father, Cowboy. There was also a chapter detailing many details of the life of Cowboy, Dust-Incense, and Dust Mortal after they arrived in Hainan until the two brothers left Hainan.

3.6.2.5-6

這哥倆尋找到了後院，發現了身穿龍袍的舅舅正站在一棵桃樹旁邊。塵凡問舅舅：“你是龍王爺爺派來的嗎？”

舅舅搖搖頭回答：“我在等你們倆來。我沒見過龍王。”

三人回屋吃飯，舅舅開始講述他的故事。舅舅說：“我從出生就是政治犯。小時候，媽媽（即大巢氏，西王母）告訴我說，‘我爸爸（張屠戶）肩負著女媧家族的一個重要任務，將成為一位曆史上最偉大的帝王，所以他不知道我的存在。’ 媽媽讓我為爸爸準備一件禮物，當他成為皇帝時，送給他。後來我爸爸真的成為了華國的皇帝（即炎帝，少昊）。我問媽媽，‘爸爸最喜歡什麽？’媽媽回答，‘我聽他叨咕過幾次：從來沒看見過60噸黃金是多大的一堆！’我告訴媽媽，‘我送給他60噸黃金！’沒多久，媽媽給我回話說爸爸不喜歡我的禮物，不想見我。”

These two brothers searched to the backyard and found their uncle in dragon robes standing next to a peach tree. Dust-Mortal asked Uncle, “Were you sent by Grandpa Dragon King?”

Uncle shook his head and replied, “I was waiting for you two to come. I've never met Dragon King.”

The three of them went back to the house to eat and Uncle began to tell his story. Uncle said, “I was a political prisoner from birth. When I was a child, my mother (i.e., Princess Big Nest, King Mother of the West) told me, 'My father (Zhang the Butcher) is charged with an important mission for the Nuwa family and will become one of the greatest emperors in history, so he doesn't know I exist.' Mom told me to prepare a gift for my dad and give it to him when he became an emperor. Later my dad really became the emperor of Hua (i.e. Yan Di, Shao Hao). I asked my mom, 'What does dad like most?' Mom replied, 'I've heard him rant a few times: I've never seen what a big pile 60 tons of gold is!' I told Mom, 'I'll give him 60 tons of gold!' It wasn't long before Mom got back to me that Dad didn't like my gift and didn't want to see me.”

舅舅繼續說：“幾個月後，爸爸派人來問，‘我送他什麽見麵禮？’我回答，‘送他120噸黃金’。爸爸拒絕見我。幾個月後，爸爸又派人來問我，我要送他什麽見麵禮？我回答，200噸黃金。爸爸拒絕見我。後來，我委托人告訴爸爸，‘我送他一句話：我這輩子沒做過對不起父母的事！’媽媽告訴我，‘你爸爸聽了這一句話的禮物，很高興！但他說你缺福，他不應當見你。他讓我給你做一件龍袍，說你可能以後用得著！’”

Uncle continued, “A few months later, Dad sent someone to ask, ‘What do I send him as a gift?’ I replied, 'Send him 120 tons of gold.' Dad refused to see me. A few months later, Dad sent someone to ask me again, 'What shall I give him as a gift?' I answered, 200 tons of gold. Dad refused to see me. Later, I commissioned someone to tell Dad, 'I'll send him a message: I've never done anything wrong to my parents in my life!' My mom told me, 'Your dad was happy to hear this one sentence gift! But he said you lacked fortune, and he should not see you. He asked me to make you a dragon robe, saying you might need it later!'”

舅舅說著，給塵香和塵凡看龍袍，說：“這件龍袍是我媽媽親自設計的，她親自縫了三年。那時候，她是夏國和華國，兩個國家的皇帝，她正向堯帝做政權移交，很忙！”舅舅一邊給這哥倆看龍袍一邊說：“這脖子下麵的扣子叫做龍王扣，是堯帝讓人製作的，堯帝親手給我縫上的。我媽媽看得都不好意思了。堯帝說她喜歡我。”

Uncle said, showing Dust-Scent and Dust-Mortal the dragon robe, saying, “This dragon robe was designed by my mother herself, and she personally sewed it for three years. At that time, she was the emperor of Xia and Hua, two countries, and she was doing the transfer of power to Emperor Yao, very busy!” While showing these two brothers the dragon robe, Uncle said, “The buckle underneath this neck is called the Dragon King's Buckle, which Emperor Yao had made, and Emperor Yao personally sewed it on for me. My mom was embarrassed to look at it. Yao Emperor said she liked me.”

舅舅繼續說：“後來有朋友給我出主意說撰寫《中華法典》能積無窮的福。堯舜禹在瓊洲的故事沒人寫，如果我願意，它可以把材料送給我。我就開始寫《龍王經》了。前幾天，出版商把我寫的這本書送來了。”舅舅指著龍王雕像旁邊的兩摞書說：“就是這本書！前天，我第一次夢見我爸爸玉皇大帝了。他對我說，‘很榮幸能成為《龍王經》的第一個讀者！’他說我寫的這本書適合普通百姓讀，會利益後人千萬年。”

Uncle continued, “Then a friend gave me the idea that writing the Chinese Codex would accumulate inexhaustible fortune. No one had written the story of Yao, Shun and Yu in Hainan, and it could send me the material if I wanted. I then started to write the Dragon King Sutra. A few days ago, the publisher sent me this book I wrote.” Uncle pointed to the two stacks of books next to the statue of the Dragon King and said, “This is the book! The day before yesterday, I had my first dream about my father, Jade Emperor. He said to me, 'I am honored to be the first reader of the Dragon King Sutra!' He said that the book I wrote is suitable for ordinary people to read and will benefit future generations for thousands of years.”

3.6.2.5-7

塵香和塵凡離開舅舅家時已經是午夜了，外麵刮起了大風。兄弟倆仿佛看見每隔一段距離站著一位士兵，但這哥兒倆誰也沒在意。第二天早晨醒來後，都覺著昨晚看見的士兵好像是雕像似的，決定回到舅舅家查看。到舅舅家的門前後，他們倆四處看，即沒看見士兵也沒看見雕像。舅舅家的們半開著。這哥倆就又進屋了，發現舅舅已經不在了，龍王的雕像前放著兩本書，書中間夾著個字條：我這輩子沒做過對不起父母的事！福！

It was midnight when Dust-Scent and Dust-Mortal left Uncle's house, a gale was blowing outside. It was as if the brothers saw a soldier standing at every other distance, but neither of the brothers paid any attention to it. Upon waking up the next morning, both felt as if the soldiers they saw last night were statues and decided to return to Uncle's house to check. After arriving at Uncle's door, they both looked around and saw neither the soldiers nor the statues. The door of their uncle's house was half open. The two brothers went back into the house and found that Uncle was no longer there. In front of the statue of the Dragon King there were two books with a note in the middle of them: I've never done anything wrong to my parents in my life! Fortune!

塵香對弟弟說：“這書是給咱倆的，一人一本！昨天，你已經拿了一本了。今天，我再拿一本。”

一些天後，這兄弟倆再次去舅舅家查看。屋門是關著的，但沒鎖。他倆進去後，發現屋裏沒人；但《龍王經》少了幾本。隨後，這兄弟倆多次去舅舅家察看，仍然沒人在家，隻是《龍王經》越來越少。直到有一天，兄弟倆發現這個家有了新主人。新主人說：“我們剛買了這棟房子，不認識以前的房主。”

Dust-Scent said to her brother, “This book is for both of us, one for each of us! Yesterday, you already took one. Today, I will take another one.”

Some days later, the brothers went to their uncle's house to check again. The door of the house was closed but unlocked. When they went in, they found no one in the house; however, several copies of the Dragon King Sutra were missing. After that, the brothers went to their uncle's house several times to check, and still no one was home, but the Dragon King Sutra was missing more and more. Until one day, the brothers found that the house had a new owner. The new owner said, “We just bought this house and don't know the previous owner.”
