隻關心很久以前的事
中國和外國的曆史。可能是真發生過的事，也可能是故事。
書接上文，耶穌誕生，聖誕節。
當晚，有一些牧羊人在田野裏放羊。天使向他們現身，告訴了他們好消息：「不要懼怕，…今天在大衛的城裏，為你們生了救主，就是主基督。」
這一段故事，名叫「向牧羊人報佳音」（Annunciation to the shepherds）。
在《查理·布朗的聖誕節》裏，Linus 的那一段獨白講解聖誕意義，就是說的這一段故事。
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luke 2:8-14
據「馬太福音」的記載，有三個東方來的博士（一說是三個國王），跟隨著天上的星星，一路找到耶穌誕生的地方。
他們看見瑪利亞（Mary, mother of Jesus）和耶穌母子，「就俯伏拜那小孩子，揭開寶盒，拿黃金，乳香，沒藥為禮物獻給他。」
這一段名叫「三博士的崇拜」（Adoration of the Magi）。
公元 1481 年，達·芬奇 開始為佛羅倫薩的一座教堂創作上麵的這幅「三博士的崇拜」。但未完成之前，他就於 1482 年起身去米蘭了。所以這幅作品一直沒有完成，現存於 Uffizi 博物館。
據說畫中最右邊的那個側臉人，是達芬奇的自畫像。
在波提切利（Botticelli）的這幅「三博士的崇拜」裏，作者把讚助人 Medici 家族 和自己，都畫進了作品之中。中間那個穿深色衣服，觸碰耶穌（聖嬰）的腳的老者，是Medici家族大佬：Cosimo de’ Medici。大佬右側的是他兩個兒子，Giovanni（銀袍），Piero（紅袍）。紅袍Piero的右邊，是孫子輩的Giuliano（白袍）和Lorenzo（黑袍）。
最右邊回首看向我們的，則是作者波提切利本人。
有時，藝術家們把「向牧羊人報佳音」和「三博士的崇拜」，合二為一成為「牧羊人的崇拜」。
