給Y弟兄的一封短信，祝賀他按立為牧師

這是好幾年前Y弟兄按牧時我和太太寫給他的一封短信，繼續在禱告中記念他在主裏的服事！

Dear Rev. Y:

As you step into the new stage of your service in the Lord, it’s our prayer that you keep abiding in the Lord, who is the very source of your love, wisdom and power, and find the joy and rest to minister to the sheep that the Lord has entrusted to you.

Quite a few years ago I attended a pastoral retreat in Los Angeles, one of the speakers addressed the following words to us, which I have bored in my mind to this very day. I would like to share with you too, it says:

It’s not about us, but HIM

It’s not by our strength, but HIS power

It’s not about our fairness, but HIS will being done

May HIS name be glorified!
