個人報稅概略

本文以TurboTax Premier報稅軟件為例。個人報稅按類別分的話就兩大類，1.Wages & Income, 2. Deductions and Credits.

 

Wages & Income裏麵包含了

• 工資W2
• Rental Properties (In Final Schedule E form)
• Interest and Dividends, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-OID (in Qualified Dividends and Capital Gain Tax Worksheet)
• 投資收益, Investment income, stocks, mutual funds, 1099-B or other broker statements
• 1099-MISC and other common income, 1099-MISC, 1099-G, 1099K, 1099-NEC. May include rental income from broker, part time job such as teaching (In final Schedule C)
• Sale of Business or Rental Property
• Home sale
• HSA, 1099-SA reported in Less Common Income

Deductions and Credits 裏麵包含了 (Results in Final Schedule A form)

• Your home包括 Mortgage Interest(自住房，Personal use的Property. 不包括Rental Properties), Property Tax, Home refinance等
• You and Your Family包括Child Care
• Charitable Donations
• Cars and Other things you own
• Medical
