猶大和他瑪的屬靈意義

猶大娶了一個迦南女子為妻，生了三個男孩──珥、俄南和示拉。這三個兒子的屬靈意義是，珥在神眼中被看為惡，被神懲罰死了。俄南為了享樂而不要孩子，也遭到神的懲罰死 了。有人認為，珥和俄南的死是指兩個部落的滅絕。示拉拒絕完婚，或者猶大不願意再將幼子示拉給他瑪，隻怕他唯一的兒子有萬一的事故發生，就找了一個藉口，等示拉長大後，再給他瑪。
他瑪被 送回娘家，幾年過去了，甚至猶大的太太都死了，示拉也長大了。他瑪裝扮成妓女的模樣，猶大路過，以為是妓女，就與她同寢，他瑪也很機智地要猶大的信物。
他瑪從猶大懷了孕，這事傳到猶大耳中。猶大認為他瑪沒有守貞操，應該被燒死。他瑪這時拿出猶大的信物。猶大啞口無言，“她比我有義”。最後，他瑪生了一對雙胞胎──謝拉和法勒斯，法勒斯是大衛的第九代祖先，在馬太一3所記載耶穌基督的家譜中有他瑪和法勒斯的名字。
神並不以他瑪為恥，神並 沒有輕看他瑪，還把她的名字放在主耶穌的家譜中。可見，聖經是可靠的。猶大和他瑪的故事，讓人覺得非常尷 尬，為什麽連這樣的醜事聖經都記載下來？因為聖經是真理，聖經從來不會把醜聞遮蓋 起來，歪曲事實。
“不要論斷人，免得被論斷”。“不要論斷人”是因為人隻能看到事情的表麵，唯有神才能洞察人的內心。唯有神的判斷才是公正嚴明的。表麵上看，他瑪懷孕除了 放蕩還有什麽原因呢？但神知道他瑪的心，她隻是想盡媳婦的責任，為猶大家生子立後。當然，神是不會認同他瑪這種做法，但神憐憫她。
神把猶大 和他瑪放在主耶穌的家譜裡，就證明了神的心胸非常寬廣，在神眼裏，沒有人是無藥可救的。如果讓你從雅各的十二個兒子中挑選一個當主耶穌的祖先，你會挑誰呢？
流便跟父親的妾 同寢，道德水準低，他不行；西緬和利未殺了全示劍城的男丁，是殺人犯，他們也不行；猶大睡過兒媳他瑪，更不行。約瑟敬畏神，又願意寬恕人，最有資格當主耶穌的祖先。但神偏偏挑選了猶大。這說明，或許我們曾經有過過錯，但隻要真心悔改，神還是樂意紀念我們的。
約翰福音第八章3-11節，中耶穌處理一個“行淫時被拿的婦人”。也是談論罪人的拯救問題，是罪及其赦免的生動隱喻。婦人行淫是否有罪，對公共輿論來說根本不重要，其唯一的使用價值是可以用來幫助他們控告耶穌。因為隻有神才能洞察人的內心，一直以來我們都是抓住行淫的女人來試探耶穌的人群中的一個。

The figurative significance of Judah and Tamar

Judah married the daughter of a Canaanite woman who became pregnant and gave birth to three sons, Er, Onan and Shelah. Judah got a wife for Er, his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. Er was wicked in the LORD'S sight; so the LORD put him to death. Judah said to Onan, "Lie with your brother's wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to produce offspring for your brother." But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so whenever he lay with his brother's wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from producing offspring for his brother. What he did was wicked in the LORD'S sight; so he put him to death also. Judah then said to his daughter-in-law Tamar, "Live as a widow in your father's house until my son Shelah grows up." For he thought, "He may die too, just like his brothers." So Tamar went to live in her father's house.
After a long time Judah's wife died. When Judah had recovered from his grief, he went up to Timnah, to the men who were shearing his sheep. she took off her widow's clothes, covered herself with a veil to disguise herself, and then sat down at the entrance to Enaim, which is on the road to Timnah. For she saw that, though Shelah had now grown up, she had not been given to him as his wife. When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, for she had covered her face.
About three months later Judah was told, "Your daughter-in-law Tamar is guilty of prostitution, and as a result she is now pregnant." Judah said, "Bring her out and have her burned to death!" As she was being brought out, she sent a message to her father-in-law. "I am pregnant by the man who owns these," she said. And she added, "See if you recognize whose seal and cord and staff these are." Judah recognized them and said, "She is more righteous than I, since I wouldn't give her to my son Shelah." And he did not sleep with her again. When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb, Zerah and Perez. Perez is the ninth ancestor of Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 1:3.
God does not consider Tamar shameful, and disdain her. God puts her name in the family record of Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is the truth. The story of Judah and Tamar was very embarrassing, why did the Bible record such shames? Because the Bible is the truth, it never lies about the sins, it never wrests the facts out of their true meaning.
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. "do not judge" because human being can only feel the superficial resemblance, only God can judge the heart of human. The pregnancy of Tamar looks like adultry, but God knows her soul, she wanted to have a baby for the family of Judah. God has compassion for her.
God put Tamar in the family record of Christ, which is the proof that nobody is hopeless in the view point of God. who would you choose to be the ancestor of Christ from the 12 sons of Jacob if you were God?
You won't choose Reuben, because he had slept with his father's concubine. Simeon and Levi were murdered, Judah had slept with his daughter-in-law, Joseph should have been the best choice. But God chose Judah.
The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
