北島最近出版了第一本貫穿整個創作生涯的英譯詩選集，書名是"The Rose of Time: New & Selected Poems” (New Directions, $16.95，1/27/2010出版)，編輯：Eliot Weinberger（評論家，翻譯人）。這書名看著眼熟，北島有本散文集也叫《時間的玫瑰》，嗬嗬。
紐約時報的書評稱，北島這本英文詩集的譯者包括Yanbing Chen, David Hinton, Chen Maiping, Iona Man-Cheong and Bonnie S. McDougall. 而其編者Eliot Weinberger則翻譯了北島的一些遠比舊作複雜得多的近作。
剛查了Amazon，有售，$11.84.
