I really want to close my eyes and take a long sleep.
That I don't have to wait,
That I don't need to pretend nothing happened yet,
That I don’t wander on the street
under tall and straight palm trees.
I don’t care if the sun is still shining.
I don’t care if the moon is full or half.
I don’t care if it is rainy season.
I don’t care if pearls are on the beach.
Time goes so slow.
I have waited a century long.
I don’t want to look back even
The time I was not with you.
Oh, dear, my lovely one,
How long I still have to wait?
How far I have to walk?
How much loneliness I have to stand?
What really I wanna do
Is to close my eyes
Sleep for long time enough.
And when I open my eyes,
You stand in front of me
